We just crowned our inaugural champion, and the runner up team owner had to back out due to numerous commitments. His team finished 5th overall in the 16 team league, and ran the gauntlet in the playoffs to fall just short.
We are running our league through ESPN and ProBoards. ESPN is used for game play, roster submissions, finalizing trades, etc., but all league activity otherwise is conducted on ProBoards (player acquisitions, trades, practice squads, etc.).
We have a 16 team IDP league, with 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 RB/WR, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE, 1 TE, 1 DT, 2 DE, 4 LB, 2 CB, 2 S, 1 K starting lineup.
We have 40 man rosters, 4 IR spots, and 5 Practice Squad roster spots (maintained in ProBoards). Salary cap, salary cap penalties for drops, restricted free agency (with player tags: franchise, transition, 1st round comp, and 2nd round comp), rookie draft, and unrestricted free agency.
We are commencing with our second annual offseason, beginning with all player activity EXCEPT player acquisition (trades, player drops, practice squad promotions, etc.)
We have a league constitution that governs league play, rookie draft boards prepared, and are in the process of preparing for RFA that begins on April 1, 2011. The league rookie draft begins on May 1, and UFA begins on June 1.
There is no fee to join/be a member of the league...and no payouts at year-end. Looking for a committed, passionate, active and mature team owner who will join us for another season of intense competition.
