Opening in Dynasty League (starting from scratch) (1 Viewer)

Due to a last-minute cancellation, I have an opening in my dynasty league. I say dynasty league but we're actually just getting ready to start dynasty mode. We've operated under a “regular” three-player keeper format for the past 10+ years but we're starting from scratch and transitioning to a dynasty set up with an auction draft.

Our draft is this Saturday (8/29) at 5:30 pm ET. We've had the date set for over 40 days, which is why it's really frustrating he emailed me a week before the draft.

We play on ESPN.

Here are the key details. I’ll send the full league constitution if you’re interested. Please email me at ad24rouse@gmail.com.

LEAGUE FEE / PAYOUTS

$300 (League Champ)
$100 (Second Place)
$50 (Third Place)
----------
$30 (Regular Season Best Record)
$130 (Regular Season Weekly High Score = $10 x 13)
----------
$610 = $61.00 per team

ROSTER

RB, RB (2)
WR, WR (2)
TE (1)
FLEX, FLEX, FLEX (3)
OP (1)
DL (1)
LB (1)
DB (1)
DP (2)

Bench: 15

ROSTER DEADLINE

  • Following our Rookie Draft, you’ll be required to reduce your roster to 30 within 72 hours. You'll likely have 30 players on your roster + up to 4 on IR + any rookies you win in the Rookie Draft. For example, you could have 40 players overall and you'll have to make decisions on who makes your 30-man roster and who gets cut.
  • Any player acquired in an offseason trade must be kept on your 30-man roster at the deadline.

SCHEDULE FORMAT - TWO GAMES A WEEK

  • You will play your opponent in a head-to-head matchup like normal and earn a win, loss or a tie for your first game. For the second game, you will earn a result based on where your team score falls in the league each week. The teams with the top 5 highest scores will earn a win and the teams with the lowest 5 scores will earn a loss.
  • Therefore, you will get 2 results every week. This means you will go 2-0, 1-1 or 0-2 (with the possibility of a tie for each game). Over the course of the season, we will have 24 total results instead of 12.
  • This year will be an exception this season since there’s a bye in Week 13. Our regular season will be extended through Week 13 with the playoffs starting in Week 14. Therefore, in 2020, we will have 26 total results.
  • Official standings will be kept on a Google Sheet, which will be viewable at all times. I’ll also email the standings on a weekly basis (likely on a Friday following stat corrections).
