Opening Lines for the Divisional Round (1 Viewer)

Sea at GB (-9)Jax at NE (-11.5)SD at Indy (-9)NYG at Dall (-7.5)
Thoughts? My initial leans are all the lines are too high. SD has beaten Indy this year, and won at Indy in '05. TO is banged up, Eli is hot, and the Giants almost won at Dallas to open the season. Is GB really 9 pts better than Seattle? And Jax should be able to play ball control against NE and keep the score reasonable, right?

Take all the dogs except for New England.

I'm a Cowboys fan and believe the Giants are going to beat Dallas straight up, so if I were inclined to wager, I'd take the Giants on the money line.

I like the Giants and thought the Chargers may have a shot.

But you cannot bet on Norv Turner and Ted Cottrell, they are horrible coaches.

So only the Giants with the points would be my take.

But I had 3 of 4 wrong this weekend (so WTH can I say!?)

At first glance I like the all of the dogs but I'm staying away from NE/JAX.

I'm interested to see the over/unders. I might lay some cash down there.

BTW I was 3-1 last week.

Wins - Seattle, SD/TEN Under, & Jax/Pit OVER

Loss - TB/NYG OVER

My bad for missing this thread and starting a similar one.

Having said that, I like New York and Seattle as dogs, but I'm not sold on San Diego with Rivers at QB and probably without Gates keeping up with rested Indy offense and defense. The Jax/NE game is one I would avoid at all cost. If forced, I would really want to study the predicted weather patterns for that game before making a pick.

Green Bay moved down to -7.5

NE up to -13

Indy steady at -9.0

Dallas steady at -7.5

Nervousness abounds regarding Seattle creating pressure to force Farve into mistakes. I jumped in at + 9.0 on Seattle. I like my chances... should be close.

Faith in New England rewriting the history books has driven the line up, despite Jax looking pretty good last week.

The loss of Gates has had no effect on the line in Indy. One would have to think that losing your best receiver against the high powered Colts would severely limit your offence. But there's still LT...

Injuries to TO and Romo vacationing with the Simpsons in Mexico during the bye week?, have done nothing to the line. Add to that Romo having yet to do anything in the playoffs and coming in ice cold ( 1 TD and 5 INT's in his last 3 games) vs. a red-hot Eli Manning... I don't know, but this game looks to be deserving a couple dineros the more I think about it.
