OPPONENTS PLAYERS AND ITS AFFECT ON YOUR STARTING LINEUP (1 Viewer)

I have always heard that you should field your best team no matter who your opponent plays, but I have a situation where I am finding myself arguing with that rule.

My Opponent is Starting:

QB Matt Ryan

WR Dez Bryant

I can Start:

QB Tony Romo over Cam Newton

TE Tony Gonzalez over V. Davis

I have found myself making the argument for starting Tony Gonzalez more compelling than Tony Romo because TE/WR will tend to score more points for yards than the QB.

Thoughts? (I guess this is borderline WDIS, but would like input on Strategy more than actual starter selection)

I like that you combined a WSIS thread with a topic that's been debated to death and topped it all off with ALL CAPS. You nailed the trifecta on this one.

I would bench Cam for sure. Can you start Jacob Tamme?

Need to see your whole roster and scoring setup please.

I make it a rule to not even LOOK at my opponents lineup until game-day, well after I've already set my own lineup. Start your best squad, always

Don't forget the misspelling of "effect". It's the rare superfecta.
Shouldn't there also be an apostrophe on 'OPPONENTS' or am I wrong on that?
How come none of you time wasting genius posters haven't critiqued the font that the OP used yet?

I WOULD DO IT UNLESS IT WOULDN'T WORK YOU SHOULD JOIN MY LEAGUE INSTEAD WE HAVE THE BEST SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION THANK YOU

The answer depends on if you're the favorite or the underdog. A few years back I did example after example demonstrating the point.

For those saying start your best players. Gordon was projected a hair higher than Bryant, Ryan over Cutler . If my opponent was starting Romo/DeAngelo/Ivory/Bryant/Marshall/Smith/Bennett. I'm trotting out Cutler and Bryant to go with my Charles/McCoy/CJ/Davis.
