I run a Dynasty/Keeper hybrid league. The league is in it's 7th season. We use the tenure method to cost our keepers. If you've never played in a tenured league before, it's a blast. Every team has 20 tenure years to spend. A player's keeper cost increases by one for each year that he remains on your team. So the longer you keep a player, the more expensive he becomes. The first year you keep a player, he costs 1 tenure year to keep. The following year he will cost 2 tenure years and so forth and so on.
We have an orphaned team that needs a new owner. We are looking for someone who is active, skilled and willing to stick around for years to come.
The buy in for this league is $300. However, because this team needs a little tweaking, I will duscount the buy in to $200 for this year only. The rules are set up in such a way that allows teams to rebuild. We had an owner take over an orphaned team last year. That team was thin but the new owner made it to the championship game. If you have skills, you can too. This league is a proving ground. It is a trade heavy league. This team also has the 1st pick in the draft. We run a linear draft, so it actually has the 1st pick in each round. Some players are getting expensive, so quality players will be going back into the pool. Plenty of opportunities to rebuild
We use LeagueSafe to secure the purse. Majority approval needed for payouts. There is no Commissioner fee. The payouts are as follows.
1st place - $1600
2nd place - $700
3rd place - $300
Weekly high score is awarded $50, paid at season end.
$200 rolls over into the Dynasty Pot. When a team wins back to back championships, they take down the dynasty pot.
