I had a Sunday 1pm EST draft yesterday. Holding the #2 pick, I was not happy to see that Foster tweaked his hammy on Saturday night, and had no idea what to make of it, in terms of whether I'd take Rice or Charles over him there (#1 guy already on record for saying he's taking AP). Then the FBG update come into my inbox, saying:
"Hi Folks,
Just a quick note that Texans RB Arian Foster suffered a reaggravation of his hamstring in tonight's game against San Francisco. Link: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/08/27/arian-foster-aggravates-hamstring-injury/related
It was serious enough that Foster angrily threw his helmet on the sidelines.

This is obviously a real worry with Foster. We thought the hamstring was completely healed as he looked great last week. But now we're back to worry. This easily drops him out of the super top tier of RBs that he'd be in if there were no injury worries. We'll know more soon.
Have a great rest of your weekend.

Now, I love this site, and the breaking news updates are great, but when I first read this I thought that it was a major overreaction on behalf of Joe. Then Sunday morning Foster tweets that he'll be ready for week 1, and Kubiak says he's "optimistic" Foster is a go for Week 1. I ended up taking Foster at 1.02, and Tate in the 10th. Then I check the rankings this morning, and see Foster ranked anywhere between 1 and 8 among RBs by FBG staffers, with the consensus rank of 3 behind AP and Rice. I had Foster at #1 overall before the injury, and I can't see moving him any lower than #4 overall with the injury, and I wouldn't exactly call that out of the super top tier of RBs. Based on the breaking news update, I would've expected to hear that he was for sure missing at least a game or two. Anyone else freak out and/or overreact to this news?
