Owners of both L. Jordan and R. Moss (1 Viewer)

I was the ####ing ####### at my draft who wasted 2 of his first 3 picks on LaMont and Randy. I refuse to trade either because no one in my league would give me anything of value.

I tested the waters a little bit on Randy and was told by one owner that if Randy Moss was on waivers, he would probably not drop his worst player to pick him up. :wall:

What are the rest of you doing who own both of these tossers? Selling low? Holding? Bagging the season?

Playing Laverneus Coles, Santana Moss, Mushin Muhammad, and Troy Williamson over Randy, but he'll eventually come around so I'll just ride out the storm.

If you're not going to get what you think either of these guys is worth - then hang on to them. Personally we didn't have any WR on our WW that would have been worth picking up in place of Moss, so for now I just won't move him.

If you have depth at another position (RB/QB) you could always throw one of them in as filler, but I'd personally wait until they have a decent week and then try to move them....

They will score points against the Browns. The schedule is not as bad now ..... now is the time to start them after the bye. Also the OL is getting healthier and time always helps an OL to gel. Keep the faith. Spot start them if you must but no point dropping them right now.

Edited to take out the MMO quote. My post was not meant to be directed at him

Just love the Randy haters.

Because he was supposed to put up great numbers against a top 3 D when his starting QB sees 2 snaps before getting hurt and the OL is missing pieces.

Like Sweetnees said, give it time. The bye week is exactly what this team needed. Hopefully they can get it together and at least be able to put some points on the board and be competitive.

Walter will get 1st team reps for two weeks and should be better come week 5

The schedule is much better down the road and the playoff schedule looks very good right now.

12/3 vs HOU

12/10 at CIN

12/17 vs STL

12/23 vs KC

12/31 at NYJ

I'm very optimistic that Randy still puts up about 1000 / 10 the rest of the way.

i can see 1000 yards but 10 TDs in 14 games - no way.Last year only 8 WRs caught 10+ TDs - in the full 16 game season.

I just cannot see Moss getting there from here on out.

I was just offered Jordan and I/ Bruce for T. Holt. I love this trade for me as I believe the Raiders will come around.

I hate to give away Holt, but the thought of Jordan is very tempting to me.

i'm now part of this club as i just aquired R Moss off waivers and I already owned Jordan (#1 pick). I have more faith in Moss at this point than Jordan however I got super lucky picking up Gore real late in our draft and he is my current #1 back.

I am not worried.

Got Moss off waivers??? Geesh...how can I get in your league?

Anyone who twisted enough to draft Raiders with their 1st & 2nd round picks, had to know they were in for a long year.

Art Shell recently said that one of the things he wrote down was to start throwing to Jordan out of the backfield. So Jordan owners have that going for them.

I predicted 3 wins for this club. i still think they will continue to be that terrible. so i dont know why i drafted jordan in one of my leagues.

i just recently got rid of him and parker in a 9-player deal that netted me palmer and barber though so i'm officially raider-free on my 4 teams now. it's a weight off of my shoulders.

sorry, "support group!"

I think I agree completely but can you maybe repeat it? Your avatar threw me off.

I have an offer on the table to acquire Jordan, and I'm strongly thinking about it. Jordan's value is low right now and his schedule over the next five weeks looks good (number of points allowed for RB according to FBG)

#4 - Cle (23.5)

#5 - @SF (14)

#6 - @Den (17.5)

#7 - Ari (27.5)

#8 - Pit (15)

I think that over the next five weeks you can expect to see about 375 rushing yards, 3 TD, 10 receptions and another 75 receiving yards.

In my league that equals about 12.5 ppg (NO PPR), which would make him a solid #3RB. Since that's what he would be for my team, I'm thinking of making the deal.
