Two intruiging matchups. Brees at Invesco in what could be a shootout. Rodgers at home in what could be a shootout. :football:

so...which are you starting this week....or should there be any doubt?

Colston is out... I don't see a shoot out.

Using only back-ups the Eagles have shown that Dallas has no secondary... with GB a major shoot is possible.

Edit: This is just a longer way of asking the board, "Who should I start this week?"

Not really...This pairing was popular going into many drafts, getting Brees in an early round and then taking the flyer on Rodgers middle/late middle and waiting to see what happened. Well, the GB guy has come into own sooner than many thought, and with Brees monster week one without Colston being a major factor, and with Denver not able to really stop SD last week, just wanted to see if other owners in the same boat were flipping a coin sooner than they ever thought possible. For the record, my minds not made up...yet. But not a bad spot to be in, eh? :goodposting:

And what if we had a thread for every Brees owner that paired him with Warner. Or Romo owners that paired him with Warner. Or Romo owners that paired him with Rodgers. Or Manning owners that paired him with Warner. Or Manning owners that paired him with Rodgers. Or Cutler owners....Then what about the RB guys who paired LJ with Chris Johnson. Or Turner with Chris Johnson as this was a common strategy. Or....

Do you see the point? This is nothing but a WDIS thread aimed a very small subset of the SP and it's the reason the ACF exists. If it's a mistake posting it here, that's one thing. But don't try to defend it as something that belongs here because it really doesn't.

this is even worse than a WDIS thread, because the thread starter is not only asking for a "start him, see mine", he's also trying to get an actual discussion about who he should start

Attention all owners who have the following roster in a 12-team league with 4 pt passing TD's, PPR, and start 1/2/2/1/1/1 + 1 superflex:

Kerry Collins

Jake Delhomme

Trent Edwards

Reggie Bush

Ryan Grant

Tim Hightower

Deangelo Williams

Selvin Young

Braylon Edwards

Torry Holt

Vincent Jackson

Calvin Johnson

Eddie Royal

Anthony Fasano

Adam Vinatieri

Steelers DST

Who would you start? This isn't a WDIS, I'm just trying to generate some discussion that may be of interest.

Amazing. I have the same team. You must have employed the same common strategy that was pimped on this board a couple months ago.

I am in three leagues, and in all three the Brees owner has Rogers. I also happen to be one of those owners. I don't know why it shook out the way it did, but I think the original poster might be on to something.

And to all the other posters slamming the guy for it...bad form. :goodposting:

Most of you sound like a bunch of little whiny girls. Either respond to the post or.......if you think it's in the wrong place....ignore it.

FWIW thanks, but I can take it. I tried to explain the rationale, and what made the situation unique---partly because of strategy discussed here before many drafts, which I and many others bought into. My question remains...if the Mods think it's over-the-line, whatever. Lock it or move it, and I am sorry. To the others whi posted ....you must have had a slow morning at work.

How is this NOT a WDIS ?
This is definitely a WDIS thread.
Wow...this is the worst forum group ever. Do you guys sit around and look for people to post WDIS so you can bash them. The question asked about Brees and Rodgers could bring up some good topics if you clowns weren't too busy getting your panties in a bunch about the post. Seriously.I don't think Dallas' D is going to let it go to another shoot out. I'm sure the D coach was all over them for letting up so many points this past week. As exciting as it was to watch, the coach won't let it happen again. As for the NO and DEN game...it might end up looking like the Monday night game. I'm guessing Brees will put up at least 2 TDs this upcoming week. Hopefully Bush will be back in week 1 form and help him out a bit.

I'm betting that won't be enough against Cutler.
