Owning 2 wr from the same team (1 Viewer)

Just wondering the thoughts on owning anas starting 2 wr from the same team, I was offered this morning dez bryant I already own austin just wondering if this is a bad idea to put all eggs in one basket? Or if people have tried this out before

It really depends on the rest of your team, opponent, etc. In general your scoring should be more consistent and injuries to one guy should bump the other. The big negative is a bad QB day blows you out.

I also posted in the ac forum I don't want this to turn into about my team just what people would think about this sort of strategy?, it seems like its a possible strategy on a, high flying offense with a fairly easy schedule from here on out

they are both top 25 wrs - either one could win you a week solo. it is a good idea

I like it if I have an out (In case of a bad matchup) I have Dez and Austin, AJ, Green and Andre Johnson. I like the Dez Austin combo in most cases but if they face a tough secondary i have the ability to opt out of one of them.

one owner in my dynasty has started mike wallace and antonio brown almost weekly, and is killing people!

The only team I really remember this working with was the Colts with Harrison (Wayne, Pathon). Maybe Wayne & Garcon or Collie too. SF with Rice & Taylor. Rams for a short while with Bruce & Holt.

The keys is the offense has to be great almost every single game, no duds. Romo & Co. definitely have some duds. If the team gets shut down both your WRs get shut down.

I think Wallace owners are contemplating this if Ward is out maybe picking up Brown or Sanders this week?

Not wide receivers, but I do have Welker and Gronkowski. So far it has worked out OK, but I know the day's coming when the Pats have a bad day and I'm screwed.

Very few same team combinations that are decent IMO, but

Cowboys are one of them.

/

Colston/Graham.

Austin/Dez/Witten

Welker/Hernandez

Nicks/Manningham (Still a believer)

DJax/Maclin I suppose but I'm not a Djax fan at all

Vjax/Gates

Who else am I missing?

I have Welker, Branch and Brady. Doing pretty well so far. There were 2 weeks branch didnt do much, but those were both the weeks where welker went off.
