P. Manning versus Philadelphia Eagles (1 Viewer)

I only play two in leagues to prevent burnout.

Unfortunately, it looks like I play against Manning in both leagues.

So, I looked up Manning's stats vs. the Eagles:

Philadelphia Eagles 2-0 49 34 69.4 554 11.3 80T 6 0 146.6

:(

2 regular season games. 6 TDS, no pix. Ouch.

Let's hope Andy Reid studied the Cowboy's defensive gameplan against Indy.

with the loss of McNabb.. i expect that Reid goes very conservative offensively in order to try to keep the game manageable I'm sure they would prefer a 17-14 type game this week. Not sure if they can stop them on defense though offensively I expect to see them play ball contro. They may try to keep it a rough and tough defensive game but may have to take some chances on defense. This coiuld lead to

1) INT's

2) TD's

here's hoping for about three of the former :banned:

I'm seriously afraid of what Manning is going to do this week. Guy is going to come out gangbusters.

Peyton is on my bench until he shows me something. That Dallas game was awful. Him and the Colts are done.

Not to get too far off topic, but as a Manning owner, I was happy that the Colts lost. I would prefer that they don't lock up home field until week 16. Having the starters sit killed me last year during the playoffs.

My only salvage is that the NFL is the copycat league, and Reid will gameplan from Parcell's defense. Get your hands up into Peyton's grill.

It'd sure be nice to have Kearse healthy for this game.

Actually, the Colts losing hurts you far far more than the they winning would help you. Irrespective of what Dungy says, if they had 16-0 facing them, they would go for it ....making history is something they would want. By losing, now once they sew up HFA throughout the playoffs (which might occur by week 13 or 14), then Dungy is guaranteed to bench his stud for week 15 and/or 16.

The Colts have a one game lead on SD and BAL. Do you really think that Indy will gain ground on those two? We're heading into Week 12. No way that they have homefield sewed up in the next couple of weeks.

Everyone knows how much the McNabb injury is going to cost the Eagles, but for this game, it's Javon Kearse that they're going to really miss.

Kearse give a ton of pressure on the outside. We all saw hoe Manning performed last week while under pressure. Unfortunatley, I don't believe that Philly will be able to get to him that much.

I think Manning has a big game.

Not sure how much influence Reid has on the defense. In the past Manning has ripped apart Johnson's schemes and those were much better Eagles defenses.350 and 3 is a good ballpark figure.
