No doubt he has to be caught, but he is making law enforcement look pretty foolish at this point. My guess is he left all this stuff behind a long time ago and is long gone from the area. The leaves will fall, winter will come, and they will give up looking in the woods cause' he just isn't there. The other possibility is that he is close by, he is holed up in a vacation home, cabin etc and is prepared to wait this out as long as it takes figuring they will never take him alive.

It would be really interesting to hear his tale of how he has been able to evade capture for this long. I wonder if he thought he would make it this long or not. Obviously a pretty smart guy whose talents are being completely wasted.... bummer.

Heard on the radio that they haven't seen him since last Tuesday.

What are the odds at this point that he either escaped the perimiter and is now on the lam? I don't feel like he's the type to let himself just die in the woods. If he got to that point, I think he'd just charge out in a blaze of gunfire. I DO think he could probably pretty easily slip past this "perimiter" and get away though. Can't see how they can truly have him contained when the containment area is so big.
