PA Governor Ads (1 Viewer)

SUPER ELITE UPPER TIER
I'd ask if anyone in PA has been seeing this, but there's no way you haven't. It's like a SNL skit. I'd say out of every commercial on TV right now, 60% of them are from these two guys.

And it's like they're talking to each other. TV show will go to commercial and a Corbett commercial will come on and say, "Did you know Wolf is a liar and a tax dodger?"

Then a Wolf commercial will come on and say, "Have you seen that ad where Corbett calls me a liar? It's not true. He's the one who ruined the schools."

The next commercial will be a Corbett commercial that says, "Have you seen that Wolf commercial where he says I ruined schools? He's a liar. I actually helped fix the schools."

Next commercial is Wolf - "Fixed the schools? You didn't take money for the oil drillers? That money could have been used for schools."

Next commercial is Corbett - "Oh yeah? Well you're face looks funny! :hot:"

Back to the TV show.

I exaggerate a little. But not much. With all of the money these two have poured in to these commercial, I'm pretty sure the school issues, along with a bunch of other issues could have been fixed by now. It's both sad and funny at the same time.

I live in AZ, but I get to see these all the time because I have Extra Innings so I can watch the Pirates. This concludes my contribution to the thread.

Corbett has been a disaster. His own party hates him. Unfortunately I am not sure Wolf is the guy for the job either.

I am not sure it matters anyway -- the bigger problem is in Harrisburg.

I'm not sure about either of them. But I just think it's funny the way the commercials are coming out.

My favorite is Corbett: "Tom Wolfe says wants to keep the rich from avoiding paying their fair share of taxes to the state. But millionaire Tom Wolfe only paid about 8% in taxes while the average Pennsylvania resident paid 18%" (or some such numbers). Uh, Mr. Corbett, you're obviously talking about federal income tax, not PA tax, so what's the point? Oh, yeah, you're trying to prove that Wolfe is right about the rich not paying enough. Congratulations, you made his case for him.

I think Wolf definitely has the Jeep owners vote. Whatever that's worth. Seems an odd angle to go with on a campaign commercial.
