Packer winning streak (1 Viewer)

Without giving up an automatic T.D. through the air and without his drive sustaining pass interference penalties the Packer defense has been able to get off the field, hold some leads, and let the offense find some rythem. Granted they have beaten Miami and Arizona so its a little early to start holding parades, but I am confident that if Carrol were still starting the packers would have found a way to lose the last two games.

BTW, the o-line is starting to gel nicely.

I am very excited about the Oline. This is a young group that appears to be grasping the concepts of the zone scheme. Green Bay could be a rushing powerhouse this time next season.

The defensive backfield has improved, even Charles Woodson is starting to chip in. The absence of Highway 28 is a big reason for that. He was just absolutely horrible and won't be in the league for the 2008 season.

A.J. Hawk is living up to the hype. The guy just gets to the ball and fast. They obviously haven't beaten anybody yet but there are reasons to hope. They have a stout and stouter test in the next two weeks with Buffalo and Minnesota on the horizon, so that should go toward seeing where the Packers are at.

They need to continue to cultivate the defense, namely in the backfield (Harris' grumbling is starting again) and along the line, where outside of Kampmann they really don't scare anybody. This teams is better and younger than last year's squad though.
