The name of a warrior -- makes me want to paint blood on my face.
This is a great character guy. He's from the mega-hs program at Long Beach Poly in Southern California. He was a beast in the state title game, but had some academic issues and ended up at Idaho State where he recorded 100 plus tackles in 3 of 4 seasons. Last year he was first-team all Big Sky and often compared to Zach Thomas in his style of play.
He went to Arizona (UDFA) where he's steadily outperformed Buster Davis both on the field and the depth chart. I smiled in early August when he was listed as a 3rd teamer above Buster. It's not so funny now that he is being listed as a 2nd teamer. He collected 8 tackles last week against the Raiders. With Chike down, Dansby's role uncertain, Beisel and Hayes in front of him. Hey it's worth reporting...
