Some owners are under the influence that saving the Pariah's when positions run out or thin will potentially hurt an unsuspecting owner. I have been against this theory all along as there are just too many positions/choices out there to be Pariahed out of a starting D or kicker. Now, if this were a 16 team league, Maybe it could work as positions can become think a lot quicker but in this Mock, I think it's a no brainer to use the Pariah's ASAP.By my count, 29 Pariah picks out of a possible 40 have been used. I can't for the life of me imagine what some people are waiting for....with each passing round the impact of a Pariah pick is diminished as the projected VBD of players selected so quickly falls in its own right.

Ronnie Brown was pariahed by Blue Peep in at pick 4.015.05 datonn selects RB Ronnie Brown, Dolphins and Pariahs TE Randy McMichael, Dolphins.
Gol dangit! I hate these non-computerized drafts......Ronnie Brown was pariahed by Blue Peep in at pick 4.015.05 datonn selects RB Ronnie Brown, Dolphins and Pariahs TE Randy McMichael, Dolphins.
Yeah, I know it's not good. But they are max protecting in HOU this year right..So, in other words, Hitmen are still in need of a QB...

Jason,I'm not sure what VBD has to do with it, as using the Pariah on players early lowers the value of ALL players beneath them for ALL of us....meaning that by using the Pariahs early, we are lowering the value of the very players that we will be able to pick up ourselves in subsequent rounds. I agree that it is probably dumb to wait on using the Pariah into the deep middle/latter rounds. However, some people's use of the Pariah in rounds 1-2 is probably just a sign of things that I see in most FFL drafts/leagues I participate in...aka guys don't have a lot of patience and/or cannot see more than five feet in front of them from a long-term strategy standpoint. It's like those leagues where you have auction points for free agent/waiver bids, and 1/2 the league blows their entire wad in Weeks 1-2...then wonders why they are stuck in a bad spot as the playoffs approach. Anyway, I'm not sure who's saving their Pariahs at this point in the draft. All I was saying is that burning them in Rounds 1-2 doesn't always seem to make sense to me unless you are standing at the edge of a significant plateau in player value and the teams picking right behind you have substantial needs at those positions.....Overall, I'm happy with my team so far (Vick, Lewis, Foster, C. Johnson and Heap). I'm going to need good support behind Vick and Foster, but that's what the middle rounds are for. I've been happy to take three top TEs off the board of late though...By my count, 29 Pariah picks out of a possible 40 have been used.
