So Lyles was diagnosed with covid two days ago...

Didn't realize you could still compete in that condition
And he’s out there breathing heavy, hugging and shaking hands with other competitors after the race. Not a wise move there by him…he’s gonna get flamed for it for sure.

Lyles is also the anchor in the upcoming 4x100 relay so who knows what’s gonna happen there.

if he is vaccinated and has covid but no fever/other symptoms then according to the CDC he would be fine to go about normal life and not worry about being around other vaccinated people. I just went through this a few weeks ago and learned a lot about what's allowed and what's not supposed to be

Doesn’t matter…media and fans are gonna flame him for it. It’s the American way. USA! USA! USA!

How many 3 pointers have the US men missed in this game?
Think the tv crew said they’re at 50%

half of them
I’m not a real basketball fan, but it seems to me like the US team is pressing (hard). I get the urgency, but they’ve left a lot of 2 pointers out there imo.
they are 53% from 2 and they've shot less 3's than Serbia so they've needed each made one

USA 1:12 (87%) v (13%) 6:1 France

USA a monster favorite in what will be a true away game.

ETA: pushed out to 90/10 in the last five minutes.

Busy day at work so had to settle for the prime time coverage tonight. What an amazing day on the track! So many great stories and performances. One of my favorites was Roberts’ lean/fall to take silver in the 110m hurdles. And I love the Tara and Hunter Woodhall Olympics power couple!

Sydney dominates!!
That wasn't even close. She's amazing.
She is, and almost certainly would have won no matter what, but pretty sure something was wrong with Bol health-wise...that's the slowest she's run in a while, and she faded badly even though she usually finishes very strong.

Can't wait for Sydney to break 50 seconds!
I don't think so. I'm just guessing, but racing more than one event of that sort is very hard. That's why the American from the team bicycle pursuit wasn't going to do all of the cross-country race.

Surprise! She must be in amazing condition.
