If my other option is Fred Taylor?Ya, sureIf my other option is Steve Slaton?Probably notAlright, thanks, so based on this information, do you start Green-Ellis this week?
Agreed with this assessment.Expect BJGE on first down, and to have him come out on half of the passing downs as I'm not sure he's matured enough as a pass blocker yet to be a full-time RB. Faulk and Evans are much safer bets to block, but BJGE is probably the best "workhouse" back of the 3. Guy can really lay out punishing hits to linebackers. From what I have seen from this site and others.BGE will get 60-70 percent of the carries, with Faulk and Evans getting the rest. Faulk in on all passing situations.
With Jackson likely limited, I'm choosing between J. Lews and Green Ellis. Based on the matchup I'm learning towards Green Ellis.Alright, thanks, so based on this information, do you start Green-Ellis this week?
In PPR, Id start Faulk without question. Non-PPR is a tougher decision. I'm thinking Evans could get the goaline work, so it could cut some of BGE's production. Probably best to just avoid the situation this week. But if you can't, I'd probably choose BGE over Faulk.Alright, thanks, so based on this information, do you start Green-Ellis this week?
Warriors Forever knows so ask him...
Certainly a possiblity. The Pats have gone with Evans in the past in similar banged-up backfield situations. And he's likely to get his share of goal-line work.Heath Evans is the play here
Just curious. Why doesn't anyone think that Obi Ben Kenobi Green Ellis is going to get goal line work? Sammy got it. Why does Belichek make the change now?Warriors Forever knows so ask him...Just like a woman, can't let anything go. Just keep solidifying your d-bag-nessChachi never gave me a link to back up his claim BJ was startingMy guess- BJ on 60%, Faulk on 3rd downs, someone else gets goal line
I wouldnt start him
In PPR leagues, I'd start Faulk of GE.If my other option is Fred Taylor?Ya, sureIf my other option is Steve Slaton?Probably notAlright, thanks, so based on this information, do you start Green-Ellis this week?
Link? Seriously, I just want to know why 3 people who posted on this topic think that BJGE is going to get pulled on the goal line. Is this just pure speculation? Has Belichek done this before and if so when? Every indication from what I saw in the second half of the Bronco game shows that he wont getted pulled, Faulk will have a limited role and Evens will be a fanasy football non-factor. I'm asking someone to prove me wrong here.Certainly a possiblity. The Pats have gone with Evans in the past in similar banged-up backfield situations. The Broncos game was a blowout. Hard to draw too many conclusions from the second half of that game.Link? Fair enough. Just looking for some precedence.:whoosh: As for the goaline situation, my educated opinion, that's it.Link? I'm no insider, but I expect him to get his opps in both GL and passing situations.Just curious. Why doesn't anyone think that Obi Ben Kenobi Green Ellis is going to get goal line work? Sammy got it. Why does Belichek make the change now?
Thank you.BJGE was the guy that hammered in the last Patriots TD from the 1 yard line! He was not only the "between the 20s" runner once Morris left, he was also the "goal line back" once Morris left. I suspect he'll be getting about 20 rushes, and maybe 2 or 3 passes thrown his way this game.So where can we draw the conclusion that Evans is going to be the goal line back? The Broncos game was a blowout. I have this Jarvis character and am inserting him in a Bushless Rb slot over my other choice, Kevin Smith. But I am horrified I am relying on trying to read what BB will do. Evans? Faulk? BGE? Some other unnamed practice squad guy? Anyone who reliably states they know who is going to get the rock and how much, is blowing smoke. Not sure last weeks blowout is a great prognosticator of what will happen today. I am just hoping NE gets up in this game and then starts running the clock down. That scenario give best chance for this upstart in NE.So where can we draw the conclusion that Evans is going to be the goal line back? The Broncos game was a blowout. Agreed. But last week is the most recent source available to us as to what COULD happen. I don't recall seeing Heath Evans very much. This week could be a different story. I don't see why though.I have this Jarvis character and am inserting him in a Bushless Rb slot over my other choice, Kevin Smith. But I am horrified I am relying on trying to read what BB will do.
