**Patriots at Dolphins** (-7.5, 46.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

I think Vegas pretty much has this one right on. I think Maye's mobility gives Miami's D trouble, and Douglas could do some damage against Kahou in the slot.

For Miami, I think this is a usual suspects game. Achane feels like a candidate to be RB1 for the week, and Hill has been heating up a bit. Jonnu revenge game is also on the table.

Miami-27
New England-20

Miami will again blow some life into the fan base and perhaps get them to within a game of .500 before traveling on a short week for a Thanksgiving Night game vs the Packers
I actually believe Miami can win that game and perhaps g on a run this season that still won't go far but they also play the Jets twice down the stretch, road game at Cleveland
Even the home game vs San Fran isn't looking as difficult as it did a couple months ago.

1st things first, must beat their division rival.
Miami 28-17 today in a pretty sleepy contest. I expect to see a lot more dink n dunk for the Phins, seems to be their ammo right now
The "Pop-Gun" as its been named the last many weeks since Tua returned, no down field passing that we've seen thus far

Fins making a playoff run
Tua looking good
Pats have their qb of the future
But this is the present
Divisional rivalry
But...

Fins- 31
Pats- 17

The Pats have never beaten Tua… until now. Stunning upset: NE 21, MIA 20

Wishcasting on my part, but division games are trickier to predict. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Dolphins don’t cover the spread in this one.

Have a feeling this is the game Tyreek gets loose on NE's secondary. NE was clueless last week with Puka and Kupp. Not having Gonzalez shadow one of Kupp/Puka was crimminal.

NE just can't win down here. Would be great if Maye could start a change here. Think we'll be questioning the coaching staff again after this one.

NE keeps it close for a while but then Miami pulls away late.

Miami 30, NE 21

Not having Gonzalez cover one of those two was just another example that this may not be the staff to move forward with.

Haven't those come earlier in the season when it's hotter? Maybe I'm not remembering correctly. But Mia not having their "full" HFA makes me not surprised if NE covers or even wins.

Maye looks like the real deal on scrambles and quick decisions. He needs another weapon and oline players.

Tua with some nice mid-range passes.

Jonnu Smith with another big game. 5 targets and a TD. Grier & perhaps McDaniel didn't value the TE position for receiving until this year. If the Tua upside comp is Brees, a big target is required.

Penalties, penalties, penalties… nothing sabotages your team’s chances of victory more than undisciplined play on the offensive line.

Jonnu getting a TD in this game was the biggest lock. Wish I picked him up when I could.

NE will draft some oline players.
My hope (unlikely as it is) is that they fire Eliot Wolf before then. Ever since Wolf came on in 2020 they have drafted 12 different OL players and only 1 (Onwenu in 2020) has panned out so far.

They always draft some oline players. Haven’t hit on many in the last several years.
Now they can draft a high 1st round pick, like Campbell or Banks. Plus free agency, top cap space, right? Miami got Armstead and Connor Williams in free agency. Both performed great when healthy.

Man…..McDaniel is simply the worst with getting plays in. This is literally a weekly problem.

Dude….make up yer ****ing mind.

Waddle makes an adjustment on poor throw…..stop with the “he put in the only place”

That was unintentional. That was all Waddle.

Anyway this is who the Dolphins are.

We beat up on under .500 teams and then get beat by winning teams. It’s been this way for 5 years.

We are going nowhere.

The downright corporate garbage of booths gushing about literally every team…..the NFL is pure product pushing, drink the kool aide BS. There is no sports reporting anymore calling out mediocrity.

Unless you like listening to hacks like Stephen A Smith or Colin Cowherd.

21-0 and we are gonna roll here vs a bad….really bad football team.

Sorry @Ministry of Pain we are gonna get waxed in Green Bay….I mean really waxed my friend.

I am Randy Quad in Major League 2…..I ****ing hate this team now. We are in mediocrity purgatory.

And there it is the booth just said what we know. We smother weaker teams in the NFL. But we can’t do crap vs the big boys.

Our defense has been better than expected. I think it's Weaver and his knowledge from BAL, plus Calais, Brooks, and healthy Ramsey.

Bad Tua on those last 2 throws.

Sat Waddle in almost all leagues I mean dude has not reached 10 PPR pts since like week 1. So today he blows up and Tyreek is doing little.

I can answer that post season toughness question.

No.

We cannot beat:

KC
Buffalo
Baltimore

I would go farther and say:

Chargers
Steelers

Nope nope nope.

OBJ has been a waste of a roster spot. Great throw by Tua over the defender and OBJ can't control the ball. Not an easy catch, but OBJ isn't getting separation. I think Taj Washington would've been better if he didn't get hurt.

Good avoidance of the pressure and TD pass to a wide open Hooper. A less mobile QB would've been sacked more than 4 times.
