Listening to Carl Banks on WFAN. Patriots used him as consultant this preseason.

He stated "Hightower will allow Mayo to forget about lining up the defense".

Feel free to read in-between the lines.

Banks also said Hightower will be "the best" linebacker on the Patriots.

Interesting. I just logged in to see what was shaking on this very topic. Having to decide whether or not he is ready to be bumped from my taxi squad. Probably going to wait a week to see how he does out of the gate even though I am somewhat thin at LB. Really rooting for the kid though. Great info. Thanks
