Patriots RB Kevin Faulk was reportedly arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession Friday night when was caught with four joints at a Lil' Wayne concert in the Cajundome.

At least he has good musical taste. The drought of Patriot arrests has ended with Faulk getting nabbed a few weeks after DB Willie Andrews. While going to the Cajundome is usually asking for trouble, Faulk might be the first person in history to get caught by a concert security check. As long as he wasn't already in the league's confidential drug program, Faulk's status with the league and team shouldn't be affected.

Paper: Faulk cleared of charge

Kevin Faulk of the Patriots has been cleared of any illegal drug use after the results of a controlled substance test were revealed yesterday, according to the Daily Advertiser of Lafayette, La.

Faulk was issued a misdemeanor summons in Lafayette last Friday for possession of marijuana while attending a Lil' Wayne concert.

Faulk told the paper that the marijuana wasn't his and neither was the jacket he was wearing that contained the illegal substance.

Faulk said he was up front with Patriots coach Bill Belichick and the organization from the beginning and immediately submitted to a drug test that he took on Monday.

As a result of the negative drug test, Faulk will not have to enter the NFL's policy and program for substance abuse, the paper reported.
