Patriots RB mess - who gets bulk of carries in playoffs? (1 Viewer)

I'm just wondering who you sharks think will get the bulk of the carries in New England during the playoffs.

Fred Taylor is back, but even he hasn't declared himself 100% yet.

Maroney has had some decent production, but fumblitis has gotten him into the doghouse a bit.

Who is it going to be?

Probably no one. Likely to play the hot hand. With Maroney in the doghouse, I don't think he will see the ball in the red zone. So probably RBBC again.

Tedy Bruschi thinks Maroney remains in the doghouse:

"I think the Patriots are going to go with Sammy Morris and Fred Taylor," he writes. "When you carry the ball, you carry the fate of the entire team in your hands. It's difficult to trust a player with poor ball security."
Rotoworld:
Former Patriots linebacker and current ESPN analyst Tedi Bruschi speculated Tuesday that Laurence Maroney will not re-emerge as the lead back in the playoffs.

"I think the Patriots are going to go with Sammy Morris and Fred Taylor," Bruschi said. Maroney was believed to be in the doghouse after losing his third goal-line fumble of the season in Week 16. He was deactivated in Week 17, though Bill Belichick has been tight-lipped about the situation. We expect Morris and Taylor to carry the load on early-downs with Kevin Faulk handling passing situations.
