Heartbreaker for the Bills. Great effort by them.
Against a team as great as NE, you can make zero mistakes. Tons of fight in them though. Amazing considering their new OC and playing on the road like that.

Ghost we all know you're a hater of all things NE. How did the Pats D look on that last series? I wouldn't be surprised if a few of these young guys just go home tonight and meditate on this win. It's nights like this where common players become champions.

WOW. Nice comeback by the Pats, but I get the strong feeling they've lost their dominance. They're going to have to scratch & claw like everybody else now (even with Brady). Trent Edwards absolutely ate them up. Without the drops & killer penalties by Buffalo's offense, we're looking at an upset.
BTW, what you saw might be the coming of age of one of the best young QBs in the NFL. And the no-huddle is a stroke of genius for the Bills because it protects their OL. Edwards is one of the few QBs in the NFL who can actually run a no-huddle the whole game. Needless to say, he's a bright kid. Their OL broke down a little bit at the end, but they're really young up front. Those guys will get much better.
If Buffalo keeps progressing, I look for them to be a real force by the end of next season. I believe they'll surpass the Pats sometime during that span.

The Pats got a narrow victory over supposedly an inferior oppenent that played with heart and played very well. I dont think you will see much chest pounding by Pats fans. Even after a victory we have more questions than answers right now.lol got me some late brady loooove!!

LOL why does Jauron always look the same on the sideline: Wide-eyed, closed-lip... just looking around, saying nothing into the mic or to his players.
He was clutch down the stretch and played well. Had a big role in drawing attention in the first half. Tough to lose that way and I'm sure everyone will be hoping for and trying to get him to "melt down". Looked to me like a nice addition to the team.JAs a fan great freaking game....now I'm waiting for the TO melt down.

Patriots did not deserve this win, PERIOD.
BUT this was classic Buffalo Bills football, to a tee. Living in WNY my whole life it has always been the same dam thing... they either suck or they CON you into thinking they might be good.
At 24-19, I was like... hmmm INT? 3 and out... didn't think the Bills schtick would hit so quickly. Never at any given time did I think the Bills would win. McKelvin... he can get a 3rd round pick from a team and I would do it in a heart beat. In a game that means so much to a franchise that has been so down in the past decade, he fumbles the rock.
If Donald Trump owned the team... MCKELVIN... your FIRED! You suck and GOODBYE you lost the Bills the game that might of helped them turn the corner.
Patriots get another win handed to them...

Brady does a press conference after the game. He has been interviewed endlessly before the season opener. Does he really need to stick around for a useless question from Suzy Kolber?
Is it possible to win AND get embarrassed? Keep in mind this was Buffalo -- after the suffle of coaches weeks before. Either the Bills are a LOT better than we thought or ... If the Pats or their fans feel confident after this win there is something wrong.
No reason? A couple people made comments that can easily be ignored. A lot of that happens in game threads. BassNBrew comes in here and instead of contributing anything to the thread, drops his pants and starts spraying a fountain of piss all over the place. Sure, those other posts didn't contribute much. We all have posts that don't contribute stuff from time to time. Not sure what him coming in here and playing i-sheriff accomplishes aside from showing what a hypocrite he is.

Yeah, you're right. Those other 15 teams this week, down by 11 points with 5 and change to go in those games. Good point.Last I checked, this is 2009 too. Last year, without their starting QB, going 11-5...that's a winning record to many.

Not sure I agree with this. The Pats caused the fumble and made plays when they had to. Even if you don't like the Pats, you have to admit that they are not a team you want to give a lot of chances. The Bills had the game in their hands and lost it. The Pats won the game fair and sqaure.
