Pats CB Hobbs misses practice, RB Dillon present

Cornerback Ellis Hobbs was the lone player not present for the media-access portion of practice.

* That meant running back Corey Dillon and safety Eugene Wilson, both of whom didn't finish Sunday's game, were on the field.

* The team was in shorts, which is a slight change from most Wednesdays, when the team is in full pads.

Dillon is hurt and they are covering it up. Anyone remember the game last year where Dillon dressed and didn't play a down?

Or do you remember the week that he got hurt the week before on the last play of a game and then was not listed on the injury report, then he played like 2 plays and was pulled for the game...oh wait that was last week.

How can a guy miss more than 3 quarters and not appear on an injury report at all, while Brady has been on the injury report for about 40 games straight over the stretch of 3 seasons?

He dressed and didn't play, but he was on the injury report that week. And he got hurt during the game last week, stinger - not sure how you can expect them to have him on the injury report before that happened. Everyone knows that Brady is on the injury report every week as a "#### you" to the league because they got fined for not accurately reporting injuries before a game a couple of seasons ago.

L a w r e n c e M a r o n e y.If he had a bad hangnail and they decided to sit him to see how the rook would do, would you be surprised if he didn't appear on the injury report the next week? Not so much.

BB has made a mockery of the injury report the past 2 seasons now and nothing has been done about it. I think it's ridiculous and the team going out of it's way to give out the smallest info possible about injuries is as well. BB uses the injury report to throw off teams preparing for a gameplan, either they are out hurt or not, no more messing around. At this point NE might as well not even have an injury report because 99% of the time it's bs anyways.

Sounds like fantasy sour grapes to me. Corey Dillon owner last season? I bet nobody here pays attention to a special teamer or the backup quard when he's listed as probable and doesn't play. I'm sorry you started Dillon coming off an injury last season, but coaches screw around with the injury report all the time (see Mora last season before the NE game), and to say that "99%" of the injury report is BS is just stupid unless you have any kind of numbers to back it up.

If you lose the 99% bit, I do agree it's frustrating. There are rules for teams to report injuries and if I'm not mistaken the NFLPA gets this too so there's some union involvement w/ player's health and all. NFL not enforcing rules or having the means to prove a team made an error is the prob IMO.
