Maybe to get an edge on a divisional opponent.... I can't see where Baker helps them. He's Mediocre at best....

I think Baker will get a lot of playing time,

and would not be surprised if he end up as

He had at least 3 CATCHES that he bobbled, tossed up, and the defender intercepted last year. It was brutal to watch.

I disagree with this. He is on the field as a defender on offense. He is great a great tackler when the Pats turn the ball over (whether he is responsible for the turnover or not). Seriously though, it seems as though Baker has been at odds with the Jets brass for a # of years now. I think he went into BB's office and said "that Tannenbaum is a no good SOB"; Belichick concurred and he was hired on the spot.
