They could take a higher probability route to go for the win.  They don't need to do it on one play (that rarely works).  Ben isn't very accurate on deep passes anymore.

Agreed.  How many times have we seen teams go super-conservative against NE in this situation only to hand the ball back to Brady with time on the clock.  Buffalo seems to do that annually.
