Pats vs Jets (1 Viewer)

I have one wish for Christmas.........

I hope Brady goes back to pass on Sunday in the 18 inches of snow and 30 mph winds......

Slips in the snow.......

And tears every single muscle in his knee.......

PLEASE.
You want one of the greatest QB`s in recent history and a great person to boot to destroy his knee so you can win a fantasy game  ....what the hell is wrong with you
I have never rooted for someone to get hurt until this season. What the Pats are doing to other teams is disgusting. They are totally disrespectful and don't care about anything but themselves. And they are cheaters to boot. Yea. Brady is a great person. I was indifferent on my opinion of Brady up until this season. I have seen just about every one of his press conferences and interviews. Brady is an arrogant ##### who DESERVES to have a career ending injury. If nobody can get to him, perhaps the snow can take him out!

The only person I would rather see fall to their knees in pain is the classy ### hole known as Bill Belicheat......

Kindly

BIGG Johnny
Start spreading the news

I'm leaving today

I want to be a part of it, New York, New York

These vagabond shoes

Are longing to stray

And make a brand new start of it

New York, New York

I want to wake up in the city that never sleeps

To find I'm king of the hill, top of the heap

These little town blues

Are melting away

I'll make a brand new start of it

In old New York

If I can make it there

I'll make it anywhere

It's up to you, New York, New York. I want to wake up in the city that never sleeps

To find I'm king of the hill, top of the heap

These little town blues

Are melting away

I'll make a brand new start of it

This poses an interesting option ... I could start Warner instead of Brady and hope for more points in his game...

From National Weather Service

Sunday: Periods of snow before 9am, then periods of freezing rain and sleet between 9am and noon, then periods of rain possibly mixed with sleet after noon. The rain and snow could be heavy at times. High near 35. East wind between 11 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 43 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between one and two inches possible.

I am going to laugh my ### off when Brady has a monster game in horrible weather. I have never seen so many people wishing bad luck upon a player in my life. Bad weather will do nothing but kill the defenders as they slip on their ### trying to keep up with NE's receiving core. Hopefully, the same happens to NE's defense, that way Brady keeps throwing TD's all game long.
Says the Brady owner who would be hopping on the bad weather band wagon if he was going against him.
No, not really. I hope that my players do good, and I hope that they do better than my opponents players, of course. But I never go as far as to look at the weather forecast, praying to god that a blizzard hits him and ruins his stat line for the season. I enjoy watching the games, and seeing how they play out. Especially with Brady in a record breaking year. I have Brady in one league, and play against him in another. In the league that I own Brady, which I am #1 in right now... I have only had one game that I won due to Brady having an amazing game... other than that, I would have won my games with my back-up QB, because my entire team is good. I am tired of everyone in my league crying their asses off about me winning because of Brady, when half of my games would have been won, with NO QB AT ALL.... I play the waiver wire hard, and had a great draft. Also, did some great trades early in the season that worked out for me. Rather than give me credit for playing a great year, everyone wants to act like any person with Brady on their team is a ####ty FF player who tripped over Brady in the draft and got lucky. Yet, for some reason... 3 QB's went before Brady in my league, and I planned on drafting him as my first QB option anyways. The worst one is the two guys in my league, who one drafted LT off the bat, and the other drafted Peyton Manning in the first round. Those two complaining about Brady! WTF? As if they weren't hoping those two players would do what Brady is doing right now. Isn't this the point of Fantasy Football? To have players on your team that win you games? Yet, the "Brady Owners" have this tag of "they are only winning because they have Brady", and it is pathetic and annoying. I almost wish that the rest of my team sucked, and Brady was carrying me... that way I could just be like "Yep, Brady is carrying my team... too bad all of the players on your team suck so bad that they can't beat one guy. In the league that I don't have Brady, I already beat him earlier in the year.... and that is with having Derek Anderson off of the waiver wire.
Look at the joined date :D
Yep. And look how he tried to defend himself against the 2 or 3 out of 1,000 laughing at him who actually bothered to post a reply.WidowBrady or whatever your name is, you've got to realize how this makes you ... OK, no you don't. :lmao: I can't wait to crush the Brady AND Moss owner I face in the playoffs this week. Noob.

Kindly   And  to rooting for ANY player to get injured. I might suggest one of those offshore online pharmacies where you can fax them your "symptoms" and they'll send something to calm you down.

Relax... it's a game. This is being less than excellent.

I'm in eastern Indiana and we are getting blasted with snow right now. Expected to get 10-17 inches today. I'd say most of the will pass thru Cleveland and head right up to Mass.

Should be interesting to watch. With Brady, Edwards, and Moss going this weekend...I've come to grips with a loss this week already. Praying for better weather next week.

It is statistically impossible for Brady to throw for fewer than 300 yards and 5 TD's this week. The weather is irrelevant.

Yes, remember when Brady threw the football and hit Marsha B. dead on in the nose causing it to swell while she was a cheerleader! He threw that in a wind gust of 35 MPH!

A "1,000" people are laughing at me? Are you really this sad?Wow... you must lead an amazing life. You have posted non-stop on this message board for 4 years... and call people by cool nicknames like "widowbrady", as you try to make fun of their virtual message board persona. You are a true bad-###. Poor old me... just joining up this year to get some inside info for my first year of bothering with Fantasy football. In a league against a bunch of people like you who have been doing it for years, and still suck at it. I am completely destroying everyone in my league, and plan on cashing in after week 16... thanks for playing. However, unlike you... after week 16 you won't see me here until next year, and will probably only see me post about 15-20 times during the entire season..... While you will be here all year round, calling people noobs, and trying to get a jump on next years FF.... only to fail again. (save your FF war stories, because I won't read your reply). You might want to try and get a girlfriend.

Nice diatribe. Ever get the feeling maybe you take this stuff a little too seriously? (If not, you should consider it...)
I suspect it will find its way into the FFA thread "From the Shark Pool". :excited:

You want one of the greatest QB`s in recent history and a great person to boot to destroy his knee so you can win a fantasy game  ....what the hell is wrong with you
Tom Brady don't pay my bills Snoop. While I'd hate to see the guy get hurt, if that's what it takes for me to win... so be it.

Cant get over the Idiots that post here...i have bills to pay also but i guess if i was hurting THAT bad for cash i would`nt be gambling with it on fantasy football. This is a past time , something to keep football interesting and fun , a reason to watch games that otherwise would have no meaning , and yes if your LUCKY enough to win a COUPLE of bucks doing it , GREAT.I just think it`s demeaning to the sport of football when people wish for serious injury ...they are going to happen as it is but hoping for it is stupid and makes the person rooting for it seem heartless and self centered. I know i`m wasting my time typing this as if it mattered what i think but whatever ...maybe a light will go off in your head...but i doubt it.

You might see it as a pastime and fun. I see it as gambling....be it a dollar or ten thousand...I play to make money. You think all the players in the NFL are all "peaches n cream, gee I hope my opponent doesn't get hurt when we play them"? Do players say" Well his shoulder is sore...I'm not going to hit him high today" or "well he's not looking when he catches the ball extended across the middle of field so I'll cut him a break and just shove him"? OF COURSE NOT!!!!!!EDITED TO ADD: And I'm the biggest Bandwagon Pats fans on this board....but my money means more than the Pats. Like I said, I hope he doesn't get hurt....but if that's what it takes.....

I guess i just go by how i feel when i see a player get injured...i always hope it`s not serious...but thats just me. I box so i know all about trying to hurt someone...it`s part of the sport....i just think in boxing the object is to knock your opponant out...in football the object is to score points and to stop your opponant from scoring , hurting guys is not the object, it`s the by-product.

You're right and I can agree with this...but that's not what DB's are thinking when they see a WR laid out. They're thinking, someone better alert this guys next of kin.

I have one wish for Christmas.........

I hope Brady goes back to pass on Sunday in the 18 inches of snow and 30 mph winds......

Slips in the snow.......

And tears every single muscle in his knee.......

PLEASE.

So if your opponant had Darryl Stingley going against you in a FF championship game his injury would be acceptable because....you increased your chances of winning some money ??? AWSOME

Any chance of the Pats resting their starters in the second half, rather than running up the score, if the weather is real bad?

Cause if I can keep the Brady owner from having a monster game, I should be able to have a shot at winning.

Yeah. You're the one that says that fans should not wish or hope for injury on players' when other players try their darndest to jack up, knock out or intimidate other players. Do you think a DE on the Jets will feel bad tomorrow if he breaks through the line nails Brady and ends up separating his shoulder or damaging is elbow?

They haven't done that all year and if the weather is bad, the score should be a little closer than expected.I think most folks do not wish for Brady to be hurt. But, if it happens, it's the nature of the game and a lot of these same folks will not feel bad about it.

If the forecast stands pat to what it is tonight, I'm benching Brady for Favre. I firmly believe Favre can get me better numbers in a dome than Brady can in a wind/snow/sleet/freezing rain storm.

This is how good the Pats are. Their best chance at avoiding an undefeated season (apologies to the Giants) is an act of God.
No it just shows their total reliance on the deep passing game. Get them into a muscle game and they are average at best. Good luck with the 2 home games in January.
I am telling ya Pats fans PRAY FOR GOOD WEATHER. The Pats are useless if they can't throw it deep. If they played Pitt Jax Indy SD in bad weather it is all over.

I don't think this Pats team is going to make it out of the playoffs. The teams lining up against them all can play smashmouth football. Clev-Jacksonville-SD-Indy and (well kind of) Pit all could beat them with a punishing running game and good defensive plays. BB better order the people of New England to start building a dome ASAP.

Pats fans be honest. you were sweatin' a little bit today, right?

turning point. Jets throw on 3rd and 12 deep in Pats territory (after the INT) and cough up the ball instead of running and attempting a FG. my opinion, that was the game.

ah, whatever. you giys are going to the playoffs and were playing for pride. and that's exactly what we did today.

We'll have the opportunity to test your theory in a few weeks...

Brady owners make mass exodus out of playoffs. You were warned for days.
 I have Brady is one league and am comfortably ahead. Guess I did a good job putting together the rest of my team.
Yeah. You and who else. I guarantee you 90+% of Brady owners are exiting the playoffs this week.

I'm surprised noone has talked about the classless Pats fans throwing snowballs that resulted in the stopping of the game.
