I started a friendly work league this year. I originally hoped for 10 teams but we were able to get 12. The issue I have now is that I sent out the payouts for 10 teams when we started but never adapted them for the extra two slots. This is truly a friendly work league with only $80 being the issue here.
Had I updated the $'s I would have given an extra 25 to the winner and runner up. I would have also added 10 to each of the first 3 regular season finishers. Should I just do this or email the people with money involved saying I didn't specify and give them the option of taking their money or should we throw that money towards a couple beers apiece at the after party?
Thoughts? This is just a fun league, I won, and I don't want any hard feelings.
