You are a little optimistic aren't you? We haven't even finished Rd #1 and you are already posing Rd 3 & 4.

I'm getting confused...where do we post the picks?

3.05: RB "Cadillac" Williams.

I should be taking a WR here but I now have a very nice 3 headed monster at the RB position and shouldn't need to worry about it till much much later on in the draft while people are busy trying to figure out if Reuben Droughns or Fred Taylor will be more reliable as their RB2. Cadillac is one of the few on the board that you know will get 20 touches a week. In case Peterson under performs for any reason I cover my play a little bit. This should put me at the top of the RB production most weeks and help to overcome some difficiences I will incur at other slots. 16 teams is an awful lot, to have 3 starting RB makes me feel good.

And hey...did you really think the guy that writes the RB weekly column was going to come out and go QB-WR-WR out of the chute? :bag:

No, but he'll be enjoying Caddy's 8 points per week sitting on the bench while the next few WRs drsfted are hanging 20 spots on the board for their teams. :D

We will start a new thread every two rounds. Limitations in maximum thread length necessitate this, I believe, plus it is easier to pinpoint where we are in the draft progress. Current & prior rounds will be listed in the first post of each thread, making it easy to see who has been selected, as well as link's for use in PM'ing the next in line. You can do a "Ctrl+F" to search for player names. Also, please refrain from posting in the draft threads about strategy and players still available. There is a draft commentary thread for just such banter. Posting strategy in the draft thread reveals too much for those who aren't following too closely and thus will enable them to "see" things quickly. You will cost somebody else a player and then they will not be happy with you. You don't want me not happy with you. (Just ask NorBee!!!!) This type of banter is more easily acceptable in much later rounds, BUT NOT IN THE FIRST 3 OR 4.

Are you kidding dude? I'll go and post it in the other thread but there is no deniro riding on any of this, simply pride. I have nothing to hide and don't care if the rest of the 15 other teams know exactly what I plan on doing, it isn't going to stop me. OK, let's move on.

Are you kidding dude?
No, not kidding. I would not want anyone mentioning a player I am targetting with my next pick. It might not have mattered with Peterson, as you are a RB guru, but I was not to pleased that his name was mentioned before he was selected. Others may have forgotten about him, but with his name out there in the draft thread, before he was actually selected, meant all drafters were now aware of him. If you want to talk value of the current selection, great, brag away. I got no problem with that. Just don't throw names out there when those players are still in the player pool. Wait until that player was selected, then comment (in the commentary thread) about how you considered him at your last pick.Plus, keeping commentary out of the draft thread leaves more drafting and less banter in the thread.

Do this for me please, as I am the one who has to page through the draft thread to keep the first post up to date, if for no other reason. It makes it much easier.

Thanks, Rody

:hey: I got the next round.

You could use one.

I'm not even in this draft, but I'm bored in #2.

Are you seriously going to try to make this draft a library? And who named you the librarian?

As long as there is no table talk (i.e. hey, buddy, I can't believe this guy is still available), who cares? Why would guys have to post twice about their selections?

:banned: :banned: :banned: Have plenty in front of me.Just thought I'd try to keep things clean in here. I'm not asking them to post twice about who they selected, just asking them to keep their thought's on who they were considering (yet did not draft, and still in pool) out of this thread until that player was selected. Don't you get that? No, not a librarian. De-facto manager, due to the displeasure of many with original manager. I really don't care if other folks post after a pick saying "Wow!, Great value there!" or "Way to reach for that one!" I don't believe strategy discussion in this thread should involve any player not yet selected, at least not this early in the draft. Come later rounds, it is not such a big deal. Right now, it is. At least to me.I'm only asking for some common sense and consideration of others in here. If folks choose to ignore my request, so be it. I'll work around it. I was thinking (I believe correctly, maybe not) that I'm not the only one who does not want "targets" leaked early. Thanks for your input pigskin pimp, it is appreciated. (Not sarcasm.)

Thank you.

I have also emailed Bagel via the Footballguys website, just in case he hasn't got time to drop by.

I need to go lay out tile for the new bathroom while the woman is away.

Domination, please, give me a call on the house phone if something happens before 9:00 PM EST.

See you all in a little bit.

Sorry guys, looks like I went and got FBG blocked at work :bye:

Gotta have someone else running the ball...

3.14 - Ahman Green - RB, Hou

PMing the next guy.

Guys, please, if you are near the turn, stick around, especially if you see the guy that is at the turn online when you make your pick!!!!!!!!

This will greatly speed up the draft!!!!

I didn't go anywhere. Lions screwed up my little scheme, and with so many picks between now and my next turn, I just needed to consider long-term plans.4.02 Tony Gonzalez, TE, KC
