looks like hitmen will be the 1 DEF/ST team....to bad he was the next guy up too. In a 16 teamer, by round 20, most legit weekly scoring talent is gone, you are looking at long shots imo. However, with this best ball format, I'm sure the ATL DEF/ST oughta contribute at least 1 to 3 weeks for me. Better return on my rd 20 pick than a flier WR/RB they may not even make a squad.

that's ok...when u have injuries we'll see how far u get with 3 defenses..defenses don't score that much anyway.

No intentions to single you out when I made the pick.....just went back after the fact to see who would only be left with one. If that makes me a tool....sorry.Missing out on ATL DEF/ST shouldn't hurt you or help me much...either one of us would probably only get 1-3 very solid weeks out of them. But, as I mentioned earlier, why not take a pick in round 20 that is relatively gauranteed to contribute 1-3 weeks (since this is a DEF/ST, I don't have to worry about 1 player getting injured ATL DEF/ST WILL play 16 games, and with best ball, I get to use those 1-3 weeks where they actually score well).

It is a survivor league. If making your opponent weaker (1 D) helps you to survive, I see no issues with that.
Hell, I would have picked a D last round if McNair would not have retired yesterday.

I was thinking about him for my last pick, but i took Josh Reed instead. Jones was pretty much given every opportunity to be the #1 guy last year and he failed. He has upside, but i considered Reed a safer pick as he is able to play hurt.
/shrug. Didn't think he failed on production/ability, but more on constantly being banged up. Rookie year, wasn't it an ankle/knee. Last year, concussion and then groin. He had a couple really nice games both from a FFL and NFL perspective.

I like the pick especially in the 20th round as i think Jones has WR2-WR3 upside, but the chance of him reaching his upside is a lot lower after his failures last year.
