The 2009 Miami Dolphins - All Wildcat, all the time.

All losses all day long. The Jets D is salivating over the 2 shots to destroy Henne in the next 5 weeks.Check that. Give us a shot at Pat White and we will take 3 of his misfires to the house. The 2009 Miami Dolphins - All Wildcat, all the time.
If Henne doesn't have the respect of the D (8 in the box) I would think it would hurt the running game.If true I don't think it affects running game at all as they were already very run heavy. I may want to take a flyer on Henne though and stash him on my bench if there were room.
Assuming someone signs him -- he is in the final year of a 2-year deal and will be 34 next season.Should be a strong contender to become the first 3-time Comeback Player of the Year next year.
Al Davis could not pick up the phone fast enough to offer him tens of millions of dollars.meet the 2010 Raiders starting QB
Pennington never threw it past the linebackers, so the Fins have been seeing plenty of that anyway. If Henne doesn't have the respect of the D (8 in the box) I would think it would hurt the running game.If true I don't think it affects running game at all as they were already very run heavy. Yeah but Henne does not have a .10 head like Russell.Henne has a much stronger arm than Pennington, that being said so does Jamarcus Russell.
Except Pennington hadn't done anything to keep defenses honest this year either. And at least Henne is a threat to throw deep once in a while. Also, I see them using the Wildcat more often and that is their most effective rushing formation by far. I think this helps the running game.If Henne doesn't have the respect of the D (8 in the box) I would think it would hurt the running game.If true I don't think it affects running game at all as they were already very run heavy. Yeah, I think Brown's value just took a thud..If Henne doesn't have the respect of the D (8 in the box) I would think it would hurt the running game.If true I don't think it affects running game at all as they were already very run heavy. Good point. Nobody stacks the box against Miami with Pennington under center.Yeah, I think Brown's value just took a thud..If Henne doesn't have the respect of the D (8 in the box) I would think it would hurt the running game.If true I don't think it affects running game at all as they were already very run heavy. Totally?Pat White is totally not even close to being ready

take it from a Browns fan, you should not do that.Pat White is totally not even close to being ready and now is elevated to the #2 spot. If I were the Dolphins I would be calling Ken Dorsey to come in and mentor White (and Penny will as well be it from the IR) and be our new #3.
Henne is the Dolphins QB of the future, not Pat White.Given the Dolphins are 0-3 and figure to not improve, I wonder how long they give Henne before trying Pat White. Is this a carbon copy of Josh Johnson/Freeman? Any advantage Henne had over White (comfortable with the offense, etc.) is pretty much negated by the team being pretty much out of it.
I think it comes down to success. Henne has the raw tools to be successful. If he can make some plays, he can probably hold on to the job. White is not going to be used as a traditional QB, I always thought he was brought in to be an added dimension to the Wildcat, and Uber-Slash type of player if you will. I don't think an injury to Pennington changes that. Henne will now be the primary signal caller in my opinion. Of course I am mainly just using logic here and speculating. With Henne's arm being far superior to Pennington's, guys like Bess and Ginn might make a jump though. They will be able to run further than 15-25 yards on patterns, which should really benefit a speedster like Ginn.Given the Dolphins are 0-3 and figure to not improve, I wonder how long they give Henne before trying Pat White. Ginn's value would be best enhanced if and when he develops a set of "NFL-caliber WR hands". He's had about 6 drops in the past 2 games, including some very big ones.Well at least this might bump Ginn's value a smidgen .... Henne doesn't have the dead arm that CP has.
Trust me. It would be more dignified for your team to simply forfeit the game like men than to subject your fans to JP Losman.I bet the Dolphins wish they had a real #3 QB right about now. Paging JP Losman.
LMAO...that is my UM homerism coming out.take it from a Browns fan, you should not do that.Pat White is totally not even close to being ready and now is elevated to the #2 spot. Yea right. Al Davis requires a long ball thrower. Pennington struggles to throw the ball 20 yards downfield.meet the 2010 Raiders starting QB
This is why you need a franchise QB in this league....you can get lucky and win one year when the stars line up, but without a franchise QB, you cannot do it consistently.
