Permitless Concealed Carry now legal in Oklahoma (1 Viewer)

SHIZNITTTT

The bill, which becomes effective Nov. 1, would allow most residents 21 and older to carry concealed or unconcealed firearms without a license.   No training either!

It is now legal as of Nov. 1 to bring your child into the liquor store when accompanied by their parents or guardian.

Raised our speed limits on turnpikes and rural roads from 75 to 80. (Possibly)

The state now has an official astronomical object: the Rosette Nebula.

Nov. 1, establishes an expedited commutation process for people who are serving felony prison sentences for offenses that are now misdemeanors. (Drugs, and Theft)

A person convicted of a felony has their voting rights restored after the completion of their sentence.

Ribeye is now the official steak of Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA!

Sounds like libertopia.

Can you pass a bill to make Baker Mayfield lose weight and add two inches to Kyler Murray's stature?

Signed,

A disinterested (?!) fan

Oof on the concealed carry without permit. And I, myself carry.

Ridiculous but not surprising.  It boggles the mind that you need a license to drive but no training or certification necessary to carry a concealed gun.

Yeah my neighbor (police officer) was not happy when this law was passed.  Locally a few people have already tried to enter parks and the State Fair with their guns.  Causing police to argue with those citizens.   Going to be interesting.

This happened in 2018 but I am guessing this is going to be the norm for awhile.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yEbvl80Gfk

I mean, at its core, allowing carry with zero training is irresponsibly jeopardizing the safety of the larger OK population. Your average 21 year old dude has no idea about use of force, brandishing, blood alcohol content, federal buildings, schools, and everything else that comes with responsible carry.

what a bunch of boobs   This law seems to be ###-for-tat.  I don't get to Okalahoma much so keep me abreast of the situation.
Yeah come on down I can show you all the a, b, c  cups you want.  But, mostly D long I am afraid.    Some of those D longs use tube socks for a bra.

Prior to this you had to leave them in the car?  Seems odd. Here, they aren't allowed to carry the liquor but have always (as long as I can remember, anyway) been able to go in with an adult. Single parents will like this new law.

It's amazing it took them this long to fix that.

On a side note, kids love those little velvet bags that bottles of Crown Royal come in.

Wow my dream come true. I now have a place to legally and secretly carry around a lethal weapon without having to do the boring stuff like learning how to safely use it.
