I go there all the time. They have these awesome Basque restaurants.
The smog isn't bad at all anymore, thanks to clean air laws enacted by our liberal yo-yos. The illegal immigrants perform innumerable services and are a major positive for the state. The high cost of living is because so many people want to live here. Same for traffic. Crime isn't bad at all. Sounds like you got nothing.
Not sure a saw would be the best tool to removing a huge land mass like California. Also, I'm not a geologist but I don't think it would float off anywhere.
The NSA won't create anything. They'll just restore the servers to the DR site. New pr0n will probably be created out of Athens, Georgia going forward. Although Austin, TX will give it some good competition.
That would be the biggest issue, IMO, is how the debt is apportioned. What is the debt load on a per capita basis right now?
That's fairly irrelevant. No way areas like Stockton or Bakersfield could afford their per capita shares. Hell, until Detroit went #### up Stockton was the largest city in the country to declare bankruptcy.
I've seen softballs tossed in a manner guaranteed to be hit out of the park, and I've seen the pitcher just miss the mark and the hitter crush it. But this, this is a new phenominon I have not seen. Thing looks like a fricken beach ball just standing there screaming hit me.

True. But they are also major contributors to the illegal Heroin trade and the violence that comes along with it. The gang problem in CA is still a growing problem as well.
Traffic is a much bigger problem than it should be due to poor planning and the fact that the liberal yo-yos mentioned earlier insist that highway expansion won't ease congestion.
Keep telling yourself that Opie.Would also add that the school system is horrible and that the growing burden of CALPERS is going to bankrupt every municipality in the state eventually.

All I know is Southern CA....too densely populated, ridiculously expensive to live, horrible traffic...its a friggin rat race. My dad lives in Orange, and I have friends near Westminster/Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach. Its nice to visit but no way in hell would in live there. Last time I was there it took forever to drive anywhere, the streets were always jam packed with cars. Here in FL I can drive 30 miles in 45 minutes (or 25 minutes on the interstate). When I drove in CA, I could never get 10 miles in that amount of time. Just brutal.

I would bet money google will be moving out of Cali within 10 years, you know just like the 158 other companies that left last year.
Well, we'll see about that next year. Been a LONG time since I've been as optimistic about a UCLA team as I am about this coming one.
