I almost have always waited in QBs it now seems like most everyone is.

If Peyton Manning is available @ 2:11 in a 12 team FFPC draft would you take him over a RB or WR? Will already have McCoy in first in and drafting again in 3 picks.

Scoring is 1ppr(1.5 for TE)

I can't imagine he'd drop that far.

Regardless, I'd take him. There's a clear top 3 QB tier IMO and in redraft mode, he's at the top as far as I'm concerned.

Your right. I was more noticing that more and more people are waiting to take QBs while maybe the smart move is to jump on the first QB when it looks like value.

If you read the articles here most experts are advocating waiting until after 6th round on QBs in this type of draft even if value falls because of the dual flex.

Losing Welker is the perfect reason why you don't chase last year's numbers in drafting Manning. Losing Welker is a HUGE loss. Peyton isn't coming close to 55 TDs this year. People that passed on a top 5 RB are going to be regretting taking Manning big time.

if people thought Peyton was going to get 55 TDs again they would take him 1.1. this meme that people drafting Manning are chasing last years stats is lazy and silly. you should still factor last years performance into your draft and the player coming off the best fantasy season of all time should get a little credit. even if he drops 12 TDs and 400 yards he will be worth it in the mid 1st round
