PGA Tour Thread: 2019 Season Ends (3 Viewers)

Nice strategy I heard on Golf radio...keep the ball between the hole and the ocean.  That takes balls of steel but makes complete sense.

 
Kept getting harder as the day went on.  The guys teeing off earlier tomorrow get an advantage.  There will be some guys in the middle that make big moves you'd think.  And some blowups up top.

 
This gonna be so close. Fleetwood and Lowry short birdie putts upcoming to get to +1. Fate of a million lineups hinging on these late guys.

 
Fleetwood makes a 15 footer on 18 for bogey to make the cut!! Oh my god. Hit his tee shot in the water. Thank you tommy. Phew.

DFS. I got $1K+ in draft.com, two highest owned players are Cantlay and Fleetwood. over 50% each. Both making the cut gives me a shot to not get throttled, maybe even make money if they go off. I think i have one of the other in all 32 DK lineups.

 
Ugh.  Hate to do it but 7/1 for Koepka is too good. Dropped $200.  

I hate it. But I think It is Brooks for the win. Rory could do it if can improve on being +2 for par 5’s.  That is almost unbelievable.  

 
I had a dream last night that Fuzzy Zoeller got eaten by a gator at Augusta. Someone hit their ball in the water and Fuzzy, clowning around, jumps in to retrieve it. The crowd is laughing but a few of the golfers are warning Fuzzy about there being gators in the water. Fuzzy waves them off saying the big gator is on the other side of the lake. He's doing the backstroke, spitting water up in the air. The crowd is really eating it up. So he finds the ball and swims back toward the place where he can get out. He's about to climb out of the water when you see the shadow of a gator coming toward him under the water. A few in the crowd try to warn him but the gator was on him pretty quick, starts chomping on his arm and shoulder. The patrons are really screaming now. Fuzzy fights it off but he's all bloodied up. A few of the golfers are lowering their clubs to him so he can grab on and be pulled out. Just then we see the shadow of a HUGE gator coming at him. It's on him almost immediately and viciously starts chomping away. Attacks him for a good 10-15 seconds and takes him down under the water. The crowd is shrieking at this point, a horrific sound. I could see Fuzzy's face as he was taken below the surface and he was already dead. I remember thinking this was going to be like the Hindenburg but for sports. It will never be forgotten. They didn't stop the tournament though. Kept right on playing.

 
FOX pretty much only showing guys teeing off on 1 and anyone who makes a putt longer than 12-15 feet. Oh and Joel Klatt yapping with someone we don't need to see or hear. What are the odds the ball is going in the hole when they show a guy they haven't shown all day standing over a long-ish putt? 99.5%?

 
Anyone play any weekend dfs? I went pretty big on Hovland just because he's so cheap. Only reason his price that low is because of the (a) next to his name but the kid is already a stud. Now that I've posted this he'll probably shoot 80 today but that guy is going to win a ton of tournaments in the coming years.
