Phenoms FF auction players, suggestions on starting auctions for 2015? (1 Viewer)

Phenoms FF auction players, it seems that Phenoms FF offered the most fantasy football auctions out of any website out there.

I am looking to potentially start a company to run auction leagues on either ESPN, CBS, or RTSports.

Varying price points, 12 team PPR leagues.

Phenoms FF auction players, what spiked your interest in playing auctions?

Looking for some suggestions if and when I launch something up. Please post reply here.

What I liked about Phenoms is that you could find leagues that were difficult to impossible to find anywhere else. For me, that was live auctions with deep rosters.

Having said that, after the bitter end of Phenoms, I would never put money into another company running lots of leagues where the temptation to misappropriate the league funds is too great.

First, I'd like to thank you for creating this message board and for your overall sentiment.

What Mike did has crushed a lot of fantasy owners and a lot of them won't trust anyone with their money again, but for those of us who have the itch and still want to play, it's time to move on.

Last August I looked everywhere for a live auction league that I'd be comfortable with and Phenoms was simply the best fit, so I'm glad someone is working on a positive step forward.

What I liked about Phenoms Auctions is that it represented the best facets of fantasy football platforms.

From my knowledge and experience, ESPN is the best online live auction platform and MFL is the best league service. It was the best of both worlds.

But for me personally, the one obvious facet that was missing was Leaguesafe.

I know it's a lot of work to co-ordinate a live Auction on ESPN, a league on MFL and have the funds go through leaguesafe, but for me personally, I'd be willing to pay $50-$100 for a 12 team live auction league under those circumstances. I'd be willing to accept an 80% payout in league awards.

I'm sure there are others like me, but It would have to be leaguesafe holding the funds.

I was actually considering just starting one league myself using ESPN for the draft, MFL for the league and leaguesafe for the funds, but I have a family and I'm very busy at work.

I'm glad someone is willing to step up to the task.

I have heard of Real Time Sports but have never tried it, but I would if it came to it.

I ran 16 leagues this season and most of them were ran on LeagueSafe, save a couple local leagues.

I prefer LeagueSafe, it saves a lot of time and they support me and my leagues.

RTSports runs auctions too but they seem to be a second slower than ESPN on timers.

Say what you want about Mike, but he had the recipe right, ESPN for the auction and MFL to run the league.

No need to re-invent the wheel. You use Leaguesafe for the funds and I bet more than half of the Phenoms clientèle buy in.

People who play in auction money leagues just don't stop.

What makes you think LeagueSafe is so....safe? They could do the same as Phenoms. I'm inclined to stay away from leagues using LeagueSafe.

I have no reason not to trust Leaguesafe, and they are owned by Paul Charchian who is a real person and works for KFAN in Minneapolis.

Is it possible he could run off with my money, yeah, I guess he could, but it's not going to deter me from playing fantasy football.

I've been using Leaguesafe for years in a $75/year dynasty league. I don't mind joining another Leaguesafe league and throwing in $50.

I understand people feel burnt by Phenoms, and I'm in the same boat to a certain degree, I only played in one $50 league and finished in second place.

That being said, I'm not going to get paranoid and stop trusting everybody.

Don't take this the wrong way, but there is a 40+ page thread in the shark tank dedicated to hanging Mike.

I'm past it, I just want to move forward and find another live auction redraft PPR league.

I'm not going to stop because someone ran off with $50 of my money, and you may disagree, but I bet there are others who feel the same way I do.

I trust Leaguesafe, for those of you that don't, then stop playing in online money leagues, which is fine, but for those of us that do trust Leaguesafe, we'll be looking for new leagues that use their services to hold the money.

I'll take Leaguesafe over sending money to someone I don't know, and I get it, I really don't know Charch, but it's the lesser of two evils.
