Wow, that team needs some work.
This team was 7-6 this past season and just missed out on the Playoffs. In a competitive 14 team league, talent is disbersed so it is rare to have a fully stacked team. This team has some good young talent and all draft picks in tact, plus new owner gets to play their first season FREE to work the team and make it their own.And above all, it's not so much about the team itself, that can be improved quickly by a solid owner who knows what he's doing....it's about getting into a good league that is active year round, competitive, good smack talk and built for the long haul. This league is that one and many of the owners can attest to it being their favorite one they are involved in.

I agree with your last paragraph, but with only 3 good players and no QB to speak of, how did this team go 7-6?You won't have many/any fully stacked teams, but normally a .500 team will have at least one player worthy of a pick in each of the first few rounds in a new draft on average. Here, you might have a player worthy of a 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. I'm guessing you have a handful of stacked teams and a lot of garbage teams. But I could be wrong.

Oz, really there aren't a whole lot of stacked teams in our league. It's a great group of owners who know their stuff, so the talent is well disbersed in my opinion. Here is the team that won the title this year:

that is a lot more even than I thought it would be. Even my larger leagues end up with more top players on the top teams than that.

The $100 is a little more than I'd pay to take over a team, but it looks like a good league.

Shameless bump & plug for the Phenomz Dynasty league. I don't have any problems bumping the thread since I know first hand that the league owners are active, knowledgable and competitive. Combine those factors with a commish who runs it well and it equals a fun league.

With 14 teams and 24 man rosters, you will need to learn the deep sleepers. The ability to draft and roster one college player is a fascinating and interesting twist on the game.

I would highly recommend the Phenomz Dynasty league.

UPDATE: Have 3 solid candidates so far, looking for a few more.

Once we get a good group of interested prospects, we'll hold a league vote to name the new owner. We want to make sure we're getting a solid owner who is going to add value to our league for a long time and not someone just willing to pay an entry fee.

Finalists have been selected and league is presently in round 1 of 2 for voting in the new member.

I'll be in touch with the finalists as results shake out.

Thanks to all who showed interest.
