Eagles retained Juan Castillo as defensive coordinator, and hired former Dolphins interim coach Todd Bowles as DBs coach.
The Eagles let their embattled first-year coordinator twist in the wind for nearly a month, but have given Castillo another chance after striking out on all potential upgrades. Bowles' hiring is excellent news for a high-priced Eagles secondary that was often mishandled by Castillo in 2011.
