Philly defense (1 Viewer)

The Philly defense gave 65 pts in my league that typically gives an average of 15- 20 pts per week. They single handedly gave me the victory this week.

Carolina was pathetic, yes, and they used 2 or 3 different QB's in the game. I'm curious to see everyone's view on Philly's defense the rest of the way?

Anyone worried about week 2 vs Brees? Are the Panthers really that horrible with Jake or is this defense setting up to be top 5 this year? Don't want to over-react and expecting week 1 numbers every week is completely unrealistic, but that was very pleasant to see.

If your D scoring is based only on sacks, turnovers, and such, it won't be a problem to play them vs. NO.

If it is based on yards and points allowed, I don't think I would start any D vs. NO.

46 points in my league. Same owner has Adrian Peterson and Greg Jennings, so he's sniffing the all-time points scored record. Poor Brees owner got 50 points, but the rest of his team is Steve Slaton, Matt Forte, and Anthony Gonzalez, so, he's taking a loss this week. Just how fantasy goes sometimes.

Anyway, It was a massive number of points but I don't see it being repeated next week, thye had the flukiness of Delhomme completely breaking down and lucked out that once was near the end zone. Add in that return TD as another fluky play that you can't count on every week (although DeSean looked really fast when he broke through). The big points came from random plays, and they held them to a low score and low yards, which really helped, but I don't see happening next week.
