Philly Eagles employee spits on Dallas star (1 Viewer)

and like the Titan who stomped the terrible towel last year, the story will be meaningless to the players and coaches but the fans will be outraged.

 
Over/under until Dallas hires him as their head website writer and Dallas fans praise the acquistion is set at 4 years.

dave has been with the eagles for about 20 years. jerry could offer to double his salary and i don't think he'd take it.
 
In this day and age where everything you do is pretty much video taped, and everything Video Taped find its way tou Youtube... why would you do that, just plain stupid. He'll most likely be fired or suspend.

The kicker is that HE is the one that videotaped it and put it up on the Eagles website. Apparently he quickly realized it was a mistake, but not before some Cowboys fans saw it and grabbed it for Youtube.This is the same guy who blasts Eagles fans for lacking class when a few people throw snowballs.
 
Eagles employee apologizes for Dallas spitting

PHILADELPHIA (AP)—An employee of the Philadelphia Eagles has apologized for twice spitting on the midfield star at the Dallas Cowboys’ new stadium and posting video of it on the team Web site.

Eagles Web site editor Dave Spadaro posted the apology on the Eagles site Wednesday night. The video has been removed from the site.

Spadaro recorded the video before last week’s 24-0 loss to the Cowboys as part of his “Spudcam” feature. Holding a camera at midfield, he pans around the new stadium before spitting on the star.

Spadaro says he was not trying to insult the Cowboys but acted unprofessionally while trying to enjoy the spirit of the rivalry.

The Cowboys host the Eagles on Saturday night in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

By "they" I presume you mean the team that hasn't won a playoff game in 15 years, right? :rolleyes:
 
it does amaze me at the level of infuriation over this.

the guy spit on blue paint - a star. not a picture of jesus, god or even obama. hell, he'd probably get praise if it was one of those from some people.

Not mad at all about it. It really is what you expect from Philly. All we as Dallas fans and players should focused on is beating the Birds down for a 3rd time this year. Nothing would be finer. Spit all you want the talking and spitting is over for us we will do our work on the field.

Not infuriated...just shocked a grown man would do this. I'd expect my 2nd grade son to act more mature than that.
