Philly Eagles = The first team in NFL history (1 Viewer)

True enough, but the fact we now only play six division games queers the metric a bit. Any way you slice it though, this was a monumentally disappointing season for the Eagles on many levels.

Especially when that other pair of games would have been against the Cards. :D

The weirder part to me is the fact that last year they were the first team to sweep the NFC East since '78 or so. Then this year, they get swept.

well, the lost once to Arizona also, so its not skewed by much....

Considering:NYG - 11-5 (playoffs)Redskins - 10-6 (playoffs)Dallas 9-7 (barely missed playoffs)I'm not that surprised. That was a rough division this year. The only other division with 3 teams with winning records was the AFC West (Bronc's, Chiefs and Chargers.)How nice is it to be the 'Hawks in the NFC West where they were the only team in the division with a winning record this year?
