Photos (and some videos) to share from a Yosemite trip (1 Viewer)

I'm just returning from a 3-day family & friend trip to Yosemite and there were 10 of us taking pictures with our cell phones. 3 were teenagers posting pictures to social media, mostly Instagram, and sharing some on our WhatsApp group. I mentioned the possibility of having a contest for best picture in different categories and the kids and some adults were excited to take part. The idea was to encourage photography and share the best photos and perhaps a few short videos. With 10 cell phones, there could be a thousand pictures,  but I'd like the only better photos to be shared, with some indexing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

first I would decide what categories would be used: Best landscape photo, most unique photo, best selfie, etc. Then have each member contribute a few photos to each category. This would cut down on the responsibility of you going through all those photos. 

I would then put together an independent group who wasn't on the trip to narrow down those submissions. 

From there you need to figure out how to judge and ultimately pick a winner for each category. It could be posted on a web site or on your social media pages. 

It would be fun to have a big dinner or BBQ to announce the winners.

Yosemite is a treasure. So much grand beauty, and relatively accessible. I'd like to return next May before Memorial Day, with a smaller group (one daughter lives in SF). It was great going with a group of 10 family & friends, but it slows down things. It was lifelong memories for everyone in the group, and would be nice to memorialize the trip with many of the photos and videos. The exact storage TBD.

Regarding the contest, 5 categories have been chosen and up to 2 submissions are being sent by most in the group every other day via the WhatsApp trip group. The FFA would be independent, but i think one parent might be concerned about outsiders looking at pictures that have their young daughters. I could choose a friend judge, or do an anonymous poll with the group, somehow

Limit this group of creeps to just landscapes and no pics of kids.
