I have to pick 3 of the 5 to start....

Hayes

Draft

Merriman

S. Phillips

Zach Thomas

Spikes

Basically, Zach Thomas and Merriman are a no brainer... I have been picking the 3rd guy based on matchups. Currently have Phillips in as my 3rd.

Curious about others thoughts, don't just say a name.... tell me why you think that way.

Without knowing scoring system.

Merriman, Thomas and Phillips would be my choices. Phillips is the benefit of teams steering clear, or at least trying, of Merriman. Hayes would be my 2nd choice. No real advantage in terms of matchup between Phillips and Hayes.

Spikes is a bit risky, Draft is solid but not spetacular.

It's difficult to accurately evaluate Phillips and Merriman without knowing how highly sacks are valued. Both Thomas and Hayes have above average matchups this week, so I'd lean toward benching one of the 3-4 OLB (probably Phillips) in a standard scoring system. Hayes sits if you get significant points for sacks.
