As you know Left Eye, I got pretty lucky last week and am going against the grain again this week (probably will blow up in my face) but this is who I like. The toughest games for me to pick were Minnesota/Arizona, KC/Indy and Jax/Bengals.

Pittsburgh

Jacksonville

Carolina

Oakland

Philadelphia

Minnesota

Kansas City

Giants

Tampa Bay

San Diego

New England

Green Bay

Detroit

Obviously Chicago and Carolina seem insane to pick but the Panthers have been in each game they've played so far this season. They've had only two games at home this season, they won in the monsoon vs the Jaguars and were up on the Packers at half and almost pulled it out. This team always plays close to the number and one of these weeks will successfully pull off a big upset, and I'm betting this is the week. They are at home and Drew Brees has looked very good so far this season but that defense is very beatable for Cam and Steve Smith, I expect a high-scoring game but one the Panthers have a real shot at pulling out with a surprise go-ahead field goal at the gun.

As for the Bears, Rivalry game. The Bears have looked off this season but historically have been great against the Lions and Matt Forte in particular especially coming off a 200 yard running game has shredded them constantly in the past. The Lions are now 4-0 and the Bears cannot afford to go 2-3 and be 3 games down to a divisional opponent (and possibly two if Green Bay beats Atlanta sunday night) I think as long as Mike Martz does what he did last week and attempts to feed Forte the ball and keep it out of Cutler's hands so Suh doesn't murder them, they pick up the victory. Detroit has shown amazing resolve ( and also lucky-as-####-ness) the past 2 weeks but are due for a loss and with all of the public on them expecting a slaughter, give me the more experienced team with their pride on the line on Monday Night Football.

this feels like the easiest

Pitt 13

Tenn 20

What's the over? With Pitt losing Harrison, that might allow Tenn to put up some points. Also, with all the injuries on the pitt offense, there may be some additional opportunities for turnovers/scores from that. What are the other O/U's.

why do you all have pitt winning? cj is going to light that defense up

and their o line is weaksauce. while ben is stuck in a boot and has limited mobility

(01) Philadelphia vs (02) Buffalo - BUF plays with heart, PHI does not. Plus BUF is @ home.

(03) Tennessee vs (04) Pittsburgh - Tennessee wins the trenches, healthier defense, and I think CJ is more explosive than the Pitts passing game.

(05) Seattle vs (06) Ny Giants - Better team and at home.

(07) Arizona vs (08) Minnesota - Battle between two crappy teams. I'll take the home team in this one.

(09) Cincinnati vs (10) Jacksonville - Ditto.

(11) Kansas City vs (12) Indianapolis - Ditto, but I do think IND is the better team or plays harder at least.

(13) New Orleans vs (14) Carolina - Will be tough for CAR to keep up with Brees and Co.

(15) Oakland vs (16) Houston - Oakland lost last year, but this year the Oakland offense is better by leaps and bounds.

(17) Tampa Bay vs (18) San Francisco - Eh. SF has been getting lucky, IMO.

(19) San Diego vs (20) Denver - No brainer.

(21) Ny Jets vs (22) New England - Another no brainer. Better team, playing at home.

(23) Green Bay vs (24) Atlanta - No defense from either team, GB offense is waaaay better.

Monday night game

(25) Chicago vs (26) Detroit - Matt Forte will need a 400 yard game to keep pace with the Lions, who should destroy the CHI O-Line.

I'm switching my Pitt pick to Tenn. Pitt has many injuries and the Tenn def has been playing very solid.

I'm sticking with Cinci on the road. Dalton has been decent and the cinci def has been very good.

I can't decide on minny or zona. At some point, minnesota will win a game. When in doubt, pick the home team. While my heart wants me to take Carolina, I don't want to give 1 back to the field if Cam Newton can't keep pace with Brees.

I think SF is improving, not getting lucky. Harbaugh's can coach and the travel is tough on TB. Perfect letdown game after the big Atl win.
