Pick one: Bowe, Owens, Colston (1 Viewer)

After you get past Jennings/Boldin/White the next group of wide receivers all seem a bit muddled. These guys all go around the late 2nd to mid third rounds. Who would you count on the most to provide consistent WR#1 numbers if you can't get someone earlier? Or is there someone else you like after the Jennings/Boldin/White group is gone?

PPR - BoweNon-PPR - ColstonIn a PPR, I would take Bowe, Welker and maybe Housh over Colston....just think NO will spread the ball around too much. I don't like TO where he's being drafted.

TO will have the lowest number of catches. Don't like him.

Bowe, with the way that team looks, I expect to be around 1,100/6, not really worth that draft slot.

If Colston is healthy (if if if) I think he has the best chance to score 10 or 12 TDs this year.

I would take Colston in a second over those guys.

Think about the TD opps he has over Bowe.

I'm not convinced on Owens in Buffalo --- Colston is a proven commodity, and he's already been so good I think people have completely overlooked the whole WR 3rd year thing.

He was doing great at the end of last year, he's great in ppr, and there's every chance he can be even better with some experience under his belt.

Actually, last year was his third season.
Haha...it's that they take 3 seasons to mature in the NFL, not that they're only good in the third season. He didn't get much chance to play last year.He could top any WR not on the Pats, but I suppose he's dropping because of the health questions.I'd be willing to take a chance if he's going to drop down to 3.

I like to look at facts, and they go to show that the 3rd year WR thing is total bull. Even the 4th year one that says after 3 years they are mature. It is totally irrelevant, and i hate that people are still moronically bringing that up.He could top any WR on the Pats as well....not sure why you owuld exclude them except maybe in a fit of homerism? Are you a Pats fan just without the thing under your name?

You seem like kind of an angry guy.

Yeah, I'm a Pats fan, and I have no opinion on the actual 'rule of 3 years', but I don't think it's a stretch that players can get better with experience.

Generally, their rookie seasons aren't their peaks.

He could top Moss this year, but that's not where my money would be.

You can bet on whoever you want.

I agree with prgromek, Colston will suffer from the fact that New Orleans spreads the ball around too much.

Two guys to consider...

Wes Welker had lead the league in receptions the past two years with 111 and 112 catches respectively. I would pay close attention to Brady's health since their back-up situation isn't what it was last year but if Brady is ready to go then Welker could be a real ADP bargain.

Chad Johnson is another guy who will benefit from his QB returning to health. It sounds like he's really reconsidering his approach to how he conducts his business and with Palmer back and Housh gone I believe he will return to the top-10 this year.

I would say Colston w/o a doubt number 1. It depends on how much you believe in matt cassel i have don't believe in matt cassel so I would put ownens ahead of bowe. This is probably assuming that reggie wayne, and steve smith are gone, but I would take both of them over any of these 3

1. Bowe - Most consistent and should see more targets now that Gonzo is gone.

2. Colston - Biggest upside if healthy

3. Owens - I don't Edwards will have the time to throw the ball to anyone. ALL new starters on o-line (that scares the crap out of me).

Colston is the only one in the same offense as last year

Colston is the only one with the same QB as last year.

Colston (see above)

TO (Edwards is underrated, Bills 50% No Huddle)

Bowe (will see more double teams w/o Gonzo, More running this year w/o the spread, Lookout for Mark Bradley)
