Pick one player per playoff team (1 Viewer)

I see alot of people talking about playoff fantasy leagues, but havent seen a thread yet about the type were you pick one player from each team. Anyone else doing any of these?

Players I think I have to have for these include

qb: Manning

qb: McNabb

rb: Deangelo Williams

rb: brandon Jacobs

wr: Fitzgerald

te: gates

d: pitt

But am having trouble deciding what to do with other players/teams

what are you all thinking for yours?

I love this format actually, but to be honest, in my experience with that format, you have to think outside the box. Best thing to do IMO is to eliminate the "no-brainer" plays. Especially if it's a deeper league.

So far I like the McNabb and Gates calls (if he's healthy that is). I would also take a long look at your D/ST scoring before using up a Pittsburgh slot on defense. Good luck.

Dallas Clark is THE TE here I think. Look at his recent performance and couple that with the fact he is playing SD who is terrible at defending the TE.

:goodposting: I'd much rather have the Clark/Rivers combo and Gates/Peyton.Peterson is a no brainer in Minnesota and Turner is close to a no-brainer in Atlanta. Tough teams to pick from are Arizona (Warner, Fitz, or Boldin), and good defense weak offense teams like Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Tennessee.

Im not sure if you can have both Peterson and Turner as no brainers. RBs generally score a decent chunk of points, so do you really want to be gauranteed to lose one in the first round?edit: my bad on the above comment, you arent gauranteed to lose one...but i still dont like wasting an rb spot on the vikings

Don't overlook Steve Smith if you think Carolina will do well (I think they get at least two games). I was in one of these the last time Carolina had a Super Bowl run and Smith was fantastic. In the playoffs, he could score similarly to a RB.

I run one of these every year. It's the player selection of the teams that play only 1 game that matters the most. keep that in mind
:goodposting: I miss the old FBG contest...virtually the same exact thing as discussed here. Not a fan of the new one at all.
