You know what's funny, I was looking at a Raiders team picture in the local Cheese Steak shop here today. Everyone sitting up nice and straight, looking good. Randy Moss, dead center in the front row, slouching in his chair like a homie. what a bum

I bet he doesn't slouch like that in the cars he buys with the paychecks provided to him courtesy of the Oakland organization. That's the problem with the league these days: people justifying behavior like that. If it weren't for the cap hit he would incur, I bet the Raiders would cut his whiny ### in a heartbeat if they could and I would applaud them. The only thing worse that I've seen this year is Chad Johnson's PATHETIC post-game interview yesterday. But at least he was crying because he wanted to help his team win. What has Randy cried about? If nobody else cares, neither do I?! What a colossal waste of talent. Even TERRELL OWENS, it can be argued, isn't as bad as Moss. When Owens steps on the field, he at least produces. And before you Owens-haters jump all over me about his drop yesterday, at least he scored. Please don't mistake me for an Owens supporter, because I can't stand him either. Moss can't even be bothered catching the freaking ball. You can keep Moss, I don't want him on my team.P.S. The saddest part of this whole year is Art Shell sitting there and taking this crap. See Davis, Al. The community doesn't support the Raiders, the "mystique" or the BS "Commitment to Excellence." The deal that got them to Oakland was criminal. The stadium renovation was so bad and now it looks like the A's are moving to Fremont. Black Hole. Yeah right. The team is a Black Hole alright. Oakland is too good for the Raiders. They should move. No. I'm pretty sure he's talking about when he dropped his 2nd pass and went back to the bench (it was on 3rd down when he dropped the ball). He was totally slouched on the bench in a reclined position with a look of disbelief...but the whole team has that look.

I might be wrong, but did one deep ball get thrown by the raiders last night? That's what Randy does, and I didn't see it once! Dont' get me wrong, he's the laziest player in the league and If I were coach I'd bench him for his half heartedness, but his thing is the deep ball, and I didn't see the dang deep ball one time!

There was one deep ball that Moss had in his hands, and then double clutched, allowing the defender to knock it out of his hands. There was a semi deep ball he had on the sidelines, but couldnt hold onto when he hit the ground.Moss's play is disgusting right now. The guy just isn't trying.
It should. He's talented enough to be a passable fantasy WR2 when he's dogging it. He'll be top 10, if not top 5 if he starts caring again on an a team with even a below average offense - anything is better than the mockery the Raiders offense is right now - Memo to Art Shell: maybe try a little more running?edit to add: even in that sham of an offense, he's still getting the opportunities to put up WR1 numbers.

I do these things a lot and have posted some on the board here. I threw this Mandy verse parody together in about 10 minutes. I've always done complete songs, but didn't bother this time because it was late and I was tired. Very cool. Not sure if you're just going to focus on last night's game or not, but there's lots of material with the drug bust, hitting the traffic cop, the infamous end zone celebration, in addition to the fact that he completely sucks now.Anyway, not to rush you, but I was planning on taking off early today to record it. Do you think you might have something in the next couple of hours?p.s. I'd change the line "Now you've come to Oakland and you're tanking" to "Now that you're here in Oakland you're tanking." The meter works better.

for the song Regarding Randy, I actually think the Vikings may have let him go at the right moment. There was a lot of discussion about whether they got "enough" in the trade, and while it may not be if you look at Moss historically, the LB is playing pretty good, and Williamson "could" have a bright future if he ever learns to catch and gets a QB that can take advantage of his speed. But more importantly, they ditched a contract for a player that is apparently in decline. Moss never struck me as the workout warrior type that would play into his late 30s, and maybe that is reflected in some of the injury problems he's had.
Of course, that being said, Oakland is NOT using him right, by any means, and he could still be a force if they would.

You do realize that Moss has put up some of the best WR numbers OF ALL TIME, has helped take a team to a 15-1 record, and has taken a team within one missed FG of the Super Bowl. Lawrence Phillips is a waste of talent...I have no clue how you can say that about Randy Moss after all he has accomplished.

So you think he double clutched on purpose? You think he didn't hold on to the ball because he wasn't trying to?I just don't understand your examples. If a guy doesn't want to try hard, that'd probably show up in the lack of effort in practice when they're running sprints, blocking on running plays, etc. I really doubt that a player's effort has to do with whether or not he double clutches on a catch.

Actually, he was trying to pull the ball into his body. It would have been knocked out of his hands given his position and the position of the ball if he didn't try. A third defender got lucky to hit him just as he was pulling the ball into his body.
