It's uncanny how drafts always seem to fall into a daily cycle. My last six picks have come up first thing in the AM, probably because MAC32 retires early in the evening.

I guess that's good because I can research my picks more leisurely at night but it does provide more time to over-analyze like I may have done with the Harper pick who wasn't on my list at all if I'd come up the night before.

Sorry to take you off schedule, but it should be short lived. Back to over analyzing and unnecessary anxiety Thu night. Maybe one more day of drafting at a reasonable left coast hour though.

In all honesty, I knew I probably wasn't going to get Witt. I like him a lot

I really wanted Vinnie. I think that dude is going to mash. He just has this look in his eye this year. And with the shift being reduced I think his OBP will continue to be solid.

Melendez is looking great in spring so far. He just needs to be more consistent with getting on base. But his catcher eligibility is what makes him so valuable in a league like this. He will barely sniff being a catcher this year. He's horrible back there.

I think I might hit Jimmy John's today. We are leaving for vacation on Friday so no food in the house.

I'll be gone for about 10 days but will have access and will pay attention. If it's close to me I'll leave a list of picks with RnR before we head out for the day. We'll be in NC in the mountains hiking and such so not sure how good my phone access will be.

When I was a teenager I worked at a country club in the kitchen. When they were making tuna salad they always made me open the big cans and strain it to get the juices out. I would always be pissed because my hands would smell like rotten you-know-what all day. Reminded me of some of my girlfriends. But I digress.

Can't eat tuna salad sandwiches to this day.
