Wow. Over 100 yards each rushing and receiving.

Being behind Bush and Stecker will probably limit that from ever happening again.

Is he really that good? Or just lucky?

Week 17. Brees threw 60 pass attempts. Bush and Deuce both out for season and they'll both be back next year. Not worried about Stecker, who is 32 years old.

I'll keep him on the backburner but won't expect much.

I think he'll enter 2008 ahead of Stecker. And if Deuce doesn't/can't come back, he could very well play a role similar to Deuce in 2006.

I expect him behind Bush/Deuce (if the latter is healthy), but he definitely belongs in the league.

He did the same stuff in the preseason also. I think he's a potential stud.

They should move Bush to WR.

Deuce's status with the team is not certain. He may or may not be back in the fold, but there is also his health to consider. Can Deuce still be the 3-down workhorse?

If Deuce's body doesn't make it all the way back, Thomas could be a huge value next season.

Payton's fascination with Bush and the $ spent on Bush will get in his way. I see him taking Deuce's spot too eventually.

Deuce's injury was very serious and i doubt he will be ready to play at the start of the year. Stecker is old. I see Thomas playing Deuce's old role in RBBC with Bush. Thomas is the real deal.

Pierre Thomas was a joy to watch at Illinois while he was running behind some questionable, at best, offensive lines. He can certainly punish defenders, and appears to have gained some quickness over the past year. Guy shouldn't be on any waiver-wire in keeper leagues at this point. The Bears defense was fired up yesterday, relatively healthy, and playing with a passion I haven't seen all year, he didn't simply dominate a bunch of scrubs...although the Bears were obviously focusing on the pass.

stecker may be old but he's been sparingly used over the years. mainly a special teamer and #3 RB his entire career. he's got plenty of tread left on the tires. most saints fans don't expect deuce to be ready for fulltime duty next year. i see thomas splitting time with reggie, similar to the way they used deuce/reggie combo before. stecker will stick around in his usual capacity, similar to how fred macfee was used by us for many, many years.

Pierre should be good to stash away on a roster if you keep plenty of players. That RB situation will be a committe next year with most of the touches most likely going to Bush. Duece may get touches if healthy but he is coming off his second major knee injury. and will turn 30 at the end of the season next year. I am not that high on Duece next year
