Has a great matchup vs SF and has been getting the goaline looks. Only thing that scares me is that he is only getting about 6 carries per game. He could punch is one or two short tds.
I'm starting him, but only because I'm missing both a regular starting RB and starting WR because of byes this week.If he can score once I'd be happy... he's also getting a few receptions a game which is always a plus.Has a great matchup vs SF and has been getting the goaline looks. Cbuck-LenWhale and Pierre for me.I'm going with C-buck. I doubt Westbrook plays... and even if he does I bet Buckhalter gets his.I'm pretty sure I'm going to win my game this week, so I should probably throw in Thomas and ensure that I get at least 5 points or so... but I'm only about 20 points back from the total points lead and I'd like to make up some points there... and Cbuck has the highest ceiling this week, IMO.It's between Thomas, Buckhalter or S. Young for me.I'm thinking Thomas at this point.

Starting him with Edge. Addai and Jacobs bye.ProBowler88 said:starting him over edge
I did the exact same thing...lets hope it works outKellysHeroes said:I benched McFadden for PT because of the toe injury... and I'll continue to do so until after Oak's BYE week
Same situation...I am leaning Jonesbenched McFadden and Thomas Jones for Pierre.
"Duce" has been cleared to play since week 1. Deuce is simply not the best runner behind Bush and Payton knows this. He's lost a step (or two)Is anyone worried that Duce plays this weekend?, I think he's cleared to goI found nothing to say Duce will play, just looking for other thoughts on him
Not worried since I do not own any of them, but I believe Duece will see the field a bit this weekend.... maybe 5-7 touches.Reports are that he is 100% and HC Sean Payton has been quoted as saying "we want to make him a part of the offense".... sorry, no link... it was in another PT post this week. I think Deuce is a nice sleeper this week and I had him until I grabbed Jordy Nelson. Is anyone worried that Duce plays this weekend?, I think he's cleared to goI found nothing to say Duce will play, just looking for other thoughts on him
Still debating on this exact move. Weighing in PT's favor is that he returns the kickoffs, which my league rewards for.BUT...am I the only one that thinks Deuce is no threat to PT's production, but Aaron Stecker is? Stecker is going to return from injury soon after not playing all year. Stecker's numbers from last year were money. I don't think he's a threat to take PT's goalline carries, but me thinks he will shrink the pie of the overall carries.Me too...ProBowler88 said:starting him over edge
WHAT TO WATCH FOR: The Saints don't want to get into a shoot-out like they did in Denver, and this could be RB Deuce McAllister's coming-out party. The plan is to get him 10-15 carries and see if he can soften the San Francisco defensive line. It might be tough running the ball with rookie LG Carl Nicks starting for the suspended Jamar Nesbit and Billy Miller starting at tight end. Saints CB Mike McKenzie is supposed to play ahead of Randall Gay while the defense also gets SLB Scott Fujita back. San Francisco RT Barry Sims starts again for Jonas Jennings. Tarrell Brown will also play some nickel with Shawntae Spencer out.
Adam Schefter just said much the same thing on NFL Network. He did not get in to # of carries, but said Deuce is active and is part of the Saints' game plan this week.http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/8614950...could-be-on-tap

FoxSports.com's John Czarnecki says the Saints plan to give Deuce McAllister 10-15 carries this week.
We'll believe it when we see it. While this report makes Pierre Thomas a shakier play Sunday, the Saints have shown no desire to get McAllister involved.
