The Rams used Pisa Tinoisamoa at strong-side linebacker during their first minicamp of the offseason.

Pisa hasn't played the position before in the pros and isn't built ideally (6'1/235) to play SAM 'backer, but he's a safe bet to stay there because St. Louis lacks good alternatives. Tinoisamoa's IDP value will take a hit.

actually he played SLB his rookie year, & had one of his better seasons (he stayed healthy)...he does have questionable size for the strong side...the good thing about having witherspoon & tinoisamoa on the outside is they are both fast & athletic...spagnuolo doesn't have the DL talent he enjoyed in NY (though if little can stay healthy & long developes, they could surprise), so he might try & compensate in generating a pass rush by sending LBs (or secondary)...
